Edited to add: the safety feature is fantastic! I can tap several times and it will send information to my emergency contact (up to 3 contacts) with my location. That's slick and makes me feel even more secure. This is a fantastic tracker/smart watch for small wrists. It's marketed for exactly that. My wrist is 5 1/8". It's small yes. Thus, I have extreme difficulty finding a tracker that is comfortable, not bulky, and yet meets my needs. For size comparison, the first photo (from left to right- all garmin: lily, vivosmart 4, vivofit 3). You can see how the other two won't curve around my wrist properly. The benendability of the band is only so much. Part of it is rigid. Now, they're both adequate less expensive choices. However, the lily fits my wrist beautifully. It's sooo comfortable and truly goes around my wrist. Could the face be smaller? Yes, I'd love to see this. However, for right now, this is fantastic. It fits wonderfully, is comfortable, and has more features than the previous trackers I had, all while looking great. No tracker is going to be complete perfection, but personally, I think this is close. With one swipe, several icons are at the ready. No more searching and scrolling for icons. Manually or not manually track activity. Also, regarding battery life...yes, of course it's not suuuper long lasting. But if you have tons of alerts, pulse ox, and other things going all day and night, of course it's going to drain the battery faster. Go into your settings and change up a few things. Personally, I like to charge it while I shower and get ready so I'm never without a charge. Find a routine that works for you. If you have a small wrist, take the plunge. The Garmin Lily fits my needs perfectly. It is a small fashionable watch that gives me the information I want. As a walker/hiker who does Yoga, I have simplified needs. I want heart rate, sleep tracking, active minutes and text/call notifications from my phone. I do not need built in GPS, music, or Garmin pay. It is small and very lightweight. I love the watch but I only get 2 1/2 to 3 days out of a charge and purchased it expecting closer to 5. It's my first smart watch and I love it except for the battery issue. I'm slightly disappointed *UPDATE* I've had this watch barely a month and the battery last less than 12 hours. I can charge it all night put it on at 6am and it is dead before I leave work at 4pm. Super disappointed. I can't track sleep because it has to charge. Then during the day I only have the 1st 10 hours of my day tracked. Whats the point? **UPDATE ** I contacted garmin customer service and they were super helpful! They sent me a replacement and had the original sent back. They also adjusted the settings and it last much longer. Side note is I do landscaping and this watch holds up well. ... show more

I am a woman with very small wrists. I had been using the Forerunner for years with no issues, except it was huge. I almost felt like it was suffocating me. I used it for everything...treadmill running, outdoor running, steps, sleep, etc. I was pretty much addicted to it. I had been looking for a smaller watch for a while, but they pretty much didnt exist. When I saw the Lily came out, I had to have it. It is a MUCH smaller watch and quite fashionable (which really isnt a concern of mine). The watch face is pretty much blank until you wake it up...that is a huge issue. You have to either turn your wrist toward you or tap it twice....this rarely works. I love the watch so I just deal with it, but it is an issue. When I first got the watch I had some issues, such as not being able to add stairstep to my watch and my distance was off. The Garmin peeps are very knowledgeable and helpful. Its a new item and takes a little getting used to, but its good now. FYI, there is no built in GPS..you will need your phone and there is also no way you will get 5 days of battery time. You will have to make adjustments to the settings to extend the battery life. You are lucky to get 3 days. You also cant download watch faces from Garmin which sucks because I like putting my own photos into it. All and all, its a good watch for what it is....not the most elaborate Garmin, but it gets the job done....especially if you have small wrists. ... show more
