If you do a lot of hand gardening, this rake is going to be a huge help. Personally, I have raised beds on bricks in my yard, which means I can't always use full size tools, even when I want to. This easy to grip mini rake allows me to clean surface debris like weeds, leaves, and vines from my flower beds when I am preparing them for planting or wintering. It is also good for helping to level off soil that has already been worked and is uneven on top. That is also something I plan to take advantage of when I set up my vegetable garden in the spring. As promised the handle is easy to work with because it is both wide and thickly cushioned. In terms of durability, time and use alone will tell how well this shows up. At the same time, the metal construction feels sturdy and had not show any signs of bending or rusting after initial use. In the end, I can happily recommend this handheld rake.     • Very sturdy, easy to handle, easy to use
This handheld rake surprised me with how strong and sturdy it is. We have very hard clay-heavy soil and our garden area needs pre-tilling a couple times with fertilizer before we can plant. As it's just barely starting to get warm, we've just done the first till. Part is done with machine, but part of it gets done by hand, and that's where this baby comes in. It was easy to use, lightweight but sturdy, and comfortable to hold. It did the job and I would even say it cut through the clay soil better than others I've used in the past! This hand rake is well made with a good, strong and ergonomical handle. The prongs for tilling are big and can take on tough soil with some rocks in it. The handle is comfortable for my small hands and my SO's large hands.

    • Sturdy Garden Rake
This hand garden rake will last a long time. I have gone through a few over the years but this one feels like it will last a long time. The handle has a great comfortable grip and I am looking forward to this season of gardening. Great quality for the price. Don't pass on this great garden tool.

This hand rake feels sturdy, but when I took it out of the box it the black finish was already peeling. Just looks like it wasn’t manufactured very well and there was no quality check. The rake is stainless steel so they could have just left the black finish off. The handle is also pretty small in diameter so I don’t think it’s going to be very comfortable to hold and work with for any period of time. The width of the rake is good for working around plants in the garden and the tines all feel very sturdy. If there was just a little more attention to detail this could be a great little tool, but it falls a little short. ... show more

This little hand rake seems sturdy and well made. Handle is soft, feels light-weight to hold, and metal end has slightly bent prongs that should work well to till up soil. Handle is about 10.5 inches long, and head is about 3.5 inches wide. The sticker on it was hard to fully peel off, but that obviously won't detract from its usefulness. No complaints, would recommend. It's winter here, but once spring returns I look forward to using this in my garden and around my flower beds.     • Nice little tool
This is a nice light weight rake, I will be able to use it to dig around in the loose soil. I dont think you can go at packed dirt with this, but at the same time I dont think it would break either. Its pretty sturdy, its a nice addition to my gardening tools.
