This garage door lock does just what I bought it to do--lock a garage door from the inside. It's plenty sturdy with minimal moving parts to fail over time. The spring that keeps the sliding latch in the locked or unlocked position seems stiff enough that it shouldn't weaken over time. I'd buy this again if I need another. ... show more
