I would’ve given this 5 stars, it’s a decent thickness, it has enough length for coverage, it’s stretchy but not super tight like you’ve been sucked into neoprene scuba-wear. All are good things. Now the tag, which is in a side seam near the waist, is longer than the Dead Sea scrolls & sewn right into the seam. I tried to carefully remove this scratchy tag, using a seam ripper but not by cutting the seam, just by trying to cut the tag as close as possible to the seam. It still loosened threads & created a hole right on the seam. You might say user error, again, I was being as careful as possible. I shouldn’t have to deal with a huge scratchy lump of a tag on my skin or repairing holes because these tags aren’t easily removed. No one needs triple levels of washing/manufacturing info for a tank top. Other than the tag, it’s a good basic tank to own. ... show more

Couldn’t believe the price of this tank top, especially given it’s made with cotton rather than polyester. Quality materials made to last, fits like a glove, and very comfortable. This is a great everyday basic to add to your wardrobe, at an incredible price.

I purchased this tank top for about $5 on sale, and the quality is good! It has a very slim fit so I would size up if you don't want it hugging your body. In regular Gap t-shirts, Small Petite fits slightly loose and does NOT hug my body. The material is soft, strong, and really comfortable. I don't like having GAP across my chest (who would?), but it's black so it's not easy to see. The thing I dislike is when I wear this without a bra, the underside of the letters feels slightly abrasive on my skin. If this tank didn't say Gap on it I would order one in every possible color. I love the square cut in front, as it's the most flattering and I can't find this style easily. It fits perfectly, the straps never fall down, and for $5 it's so worth it. I wouldn't pay more than $10, but I absolutely recommend it! ... show more
