The 90s are back, and the GAP "Baggy Rigid Fit" jean is a perfect, authentic throwback. This is the jean for someone who is tired of the skinny, "painted-on" look and wants room, comfort, and a classic silhouette. The "Baggy" fit is exactly as advertised. It's roomy through the seat and thighs and carries that width all the way down to the ankle. This is not a "tapered" or "athletic" cut; it's a true straight, wide leg. This provides an incredible range of motion and a level of comfort that slim-fit jeans just can't offer. The 36W x 30L sizing was accurate, sitting comfortably at the waist and breaking perfectly at the shoe. The "Rigid Fit" is the other key component. This is not a "stretch" denim. It's 100% cotton, and it feels substantial and durable, just like jeans used to. This means it requires a "break-in" period. Out of the box, they are stiff, but with each wear and wash, they will soften, fade, and mold to your body, creating unique wear patterns (like honeycombs and whiskers) that are the hallmark of true denim. The "Washed Black" color is fantastic. It’s a perfectly faded, soft black that looks lived-in from day one. It’s less harsh than a jet-black jean and pairs well with everything from a white t-shirt to a colorful hoodie. The 5-pocket styling and GAP branding are classic and minimal. These jeans are a statement. They are intentionally oversized and built for a specific, relaxed aesthetic. They are perfect for skating, casual weekends, or anyone prioritizing comfort and a vintage-inspired look. These GAP baggy rigid fit jeans really surprised me in a good way. The denim has that sturdy, old-school feel not stretchy, but still comfortable once they break in. The fit is exactly what I was looking for: loose, relaxed, and true to the classic baggy style without looking sloppy. The wash looks clean and versatile, easy to pair with hoodies, tees, or a denim jacket. I also appreciate that the length runs pretty true, so they stack nicely without dragging too much. My only small complaint is that the rigid denim is a bit stiff at first, so it takes a few wears to soften up. But once they settle in, they’re really comfortable. Not all of us want stretchy pants all the time and it seems like pretty much everything that comes out. These days is super stretchy. As a big guy, especially a big guy with thick legs. I want something a little more on the baggy side and I want something to fit my waist without the stretch. Just a nice good fitting waist and with these gap jeans, I found it! In my younger days, I wore gap jeans all the time. It’s one of my favorite brands. I don’t know why, but I had stopped wearing them a while back pretty much camouflage shorts is all I wear, but every once in a while I need to have a pair of nice jeans and these jeans fit that bill. The material is nice and thick. You get the gap quality where you know the stitching as well. The pockets are on their good and the fit is gonna be right on the money. The zipper isn’t cheap plastic and the button is riveted on there very well pockets are deep so if you carry a larger wallet, it’ll fit in there good or if you stuff a big phone down the front of your pants in the front pocket it’ll fit well also. The size is true to fit when it says 38 it’s a 38 and it fits perfect when it says 32. The length is 32 write down covering the ankles just over the top of the shoe the ex expectation from having a gap name on it was met every which way possible. And while a lot of jeans, get extremely expensive these days these are priced very well for the quality they are. I think gap has gotten me back into their products now I just gotta find me some camouflage! At the end of the day quality rate fit great everything about him is right on the money.

The quality and workmanship is very good. The size and fit is accurate as specified in the size chart. Shrinkage is minimal if at all after washing and drying. It is comfortable but not my personal style (too baggy for me). The denim has quite a soft feel like it’s been broken in. So as long as you prefer this style, I recommend them because it’s well made and comfortably soft.

These are cool jeans. They're a baggy fit, which is coming back in style again. They're somewhat faded, and also comfortable, and well-made. I've now worn them and washed them a couple times without any issues at all. You get just what you'd expect, and they're as advertised. They're not thin or cheap, but good jeans.

If this is what you're looking for, these jeans are a good choice. The weight of the denim is nice, and the light stone wash is true to the images in the listing. The legs are a barrel-fit all the way to the waist, plenty of room in the entire pant. The fit is a baggy retro to like an early 2000s style, so if that's not what you're after be aware.
