The quality is good. The issue I have is that they're like 2 inches longer than they should be. The waist fits right but the length is way off. I thought I had ordered the wrong size or maybe received the wrong size...nope.

I ordered a pair of straight fit khakis from the gap store online that were more expensive - the waist fit but they ran weirdly long. I then ordered a pair of the straight fit "essentials" from Amazon in a shorter length, the length was right but the waist was too wide and the seat too roomy... which was different than the direct store version (the direct store version had a better cut). Outside of that, the material is great and very much the same as the direct gap store version (albeit with some "cheap" shortcuts like un-lined seams and no double wrapped waist band). If you normally wear a 32 length you probably only need a 30 length in these. Both of the pairs I have are still wearable but neither had the cut I was after. ... show more
