Very very easy to install. It has 2 terminals on the back that don't require any soldering. Each terminal has 2 screws that tighten the wire ends firmly into the terminal. I installed 1 end onto my trolling motor, using post 1 for positive and post 2 for negative. The posts are labeled on the connector to help prevent crossing wires. After I tested it with my trolling motor, I was so pleased with the outcome I ordered a 2nd one and mated it to the end of my trolling motor battery charger. Now everything up front can use that plug :) ... show more

This is an excellent product and shipped quickly ! May be best suited for SOLID wire. In my case securing the connections (even with two set screws each) was hard!
