I was looking for a new gym bag and I had a lot of things I needed to include and this bag ticked all of the boxes. There are tons of pockets. I only included one photo, which is of my phone (3.5"×6.5") in the strap pocket, because that was the important one that I wanted because my gym clothes don't have pockets and I don't want my phone and wallet on my back. I also wanted side mesh pockets so my water bottle doesn't take up space in such a little bag...the side pouched fit a 23.7oz sport bottle. I like the little back pocket too, I pulled off the elastic zipper pull so it would be tougher to notice and get into. I put secret stuff in there. I wanted a small crossbody bag, and this is perfect. It fits everything I need with not a lot of wasted space. It's nice and compact and fits a deceptive amount of stuff. Purchased this product for my teenage son as a personal item on an international flight to hold his TSA-approved liquids bag, electronic devices, and chargers. My son was disappointed that his iPad could not fit in the main compartment of the sling bag, which became an issue when we went through the security checkpoint at Philadelphia Airport for our departure flight to Germany and he forgot that he had put the iPad in his carry-on luggage. Needless to say, it wasn't a pleasant experience to watch my teenage son struggle with the lock on his luggage while a TSA agent yelled at him. It was his 1st time flying and it started out really bad. Since my husband and I had already went through security ahead of my son since they expected 1 person at a time and made no accommodations for families traveling with teenage children, we weren't allowed to go back to help him. What does any of this have to do with this purchase? Well, I purchased the bag explicitly to carry the items my son would need to take out for the TSA security screening. I just wish the main compartment was a bit bigger to hold an iPad or comparable tablet. He also complained that the strap rubbed against his neck when he wore it crossbody. ... show more

I used this bag (Orange, which is more like coral or reddish) on an 11-day vacation to Italy. I wore this every day in warm sunny weather. I had a 10 inch tablet, 7" umbrella, 20,000mah battery pack, cash, snacks, tissues, hand sanitizer and a water bottle. I typically wore it across my back, but when we were in crowded areas I switched it to my chest for additional security. It works well in both positions and I did not get sweat-soaked spots where it was either, so it breathes pretty well. I wasn't a big fan of the pocket on the strap though. Depending on your height and/or how you adjust the strap it may be right at your neck/chin when wearing. I would prefer it be removable or more of a flat stretchy pocket instead. Idid like the loop at the top. Many other don't have on but it came in handy for hanging it while on the tour bus, etc. I did get caught in the rain the one day I didn't pack the umbrella. The bag and I got pretty soaked but the bag contents fared much better. It was very slightly damp inside where it got the most wet but held up well. Spraying the bag with some water repellant would be a good idea. In short, the bag works well and holds a fair amount. It would be suitable for a day of hiking or for keeping the basics with you anywhere you may go. I recommend it. ... show more
