I've had 2 back surgeries and suffer from neuropathy on one side. I'm also on my feet for 6-8 hours at work usually hitting 8,000 steps before the night is half over. I've tried a variety of shoes and insoles with minimal success. I decided to splurge on these and I'm so glad I did! I read all the reviews and sized up half size. I experimented with the different included insoles over 2 work shifts. The first 2 days I had to adjust to the different support and I wasn't thrilled but once I got the right combo of insoles everything changed. The third day I had no pain in my foot, my back, or my knee! It was like walking on padded mats all day rather than the concrete floors! I wear them everyday to work and they are amazing. I can say they are worth every penny. I wish I had bought these to begin with and saved money rather than buying the numerous cheaper shoes and insoles I had tried for months. I don't come home and rip the shoes off my feet like I did with others. My feet tend to swell a bit after a shift but in these I don't even notice. The price has gone up since I bought my first pair but I'm still going to buy another. The price for comfort is well worth it. If you're like me and you hate spending lots of money on shoes, you'll be happy you did with these. I don't write reviews often but these deserved a shout-out for being the best! ... show more

Normally I love gdefy, this particular shoe had a fake tongue. It was all one shoe. I have a high instep and it was too difficult to get on and was too too tight. I gave them to someone that found them beneficail.

    • Love the brand .... don't like this shoe ... the sock causes blisters

This shoe isn't like their others. It has a "sock" insert that when worn with or without socks (knees highs or footies) causes a blister on my left heel, right where the "sock" part of the shoe sits. I love this brand, but the sock instead of tradition tongue is bad. Buy the more traditional style and you'll be much happier. I always am. Guess this is what I get for trying the "new" version of a classic :) ... show more
