I was hoping for a stick which would get me through for a few weeks but I think this will last me a long time so I'm very happy with it. I thought at first it was a little top heavy, but as I used it, I came to like it. it feels good in the hand and it's clearly been well crafted. The two pieces screwed together smoothly and tightly. The tip seems solid and the rubber end does keep it from slipping. I'll be looking for other items from this company.

Pros: o Handle balances your weight directly over center of cane o Fancy look o Relatively high weight, guess it might be good for banging on things Cons: o Production description says it breaks into three sections - false, it breaks into two o Only choice is the built-in single prong tip - does not offer additional stability for those who need it. o No wrist strap o Height not adjustable, even with a saw o I personally don't find the ergonomics of the metal handle to be comfortable If you're looking for a cane that is in the fancy category, this might do it. It has a nice wooden body built with a very dark wood, almost looks like ebony or dark stained mahogany. The sliver-looking handle is heavy and ornate. It's the kind of cane you'd expect Ebenezer Scrooge to use to bang on doors when he comes calling. So there is that. You give up a lot for all this though. First and most importably, this cane is 37" high and there is no way to adjust it. That makes it nominally great for someone 6'2", as you go taller or shorter this cane will be less and less of a good fit. The more you use an improperly fitted cane, the worse the aches and pains in your arms and shoulders, and the less safe you are. It's pretty easy to unscrew the cane and thus break it down into two sections, at which point it is conceivably small enough to fit into a backpack, but with the longer segment being almost 20" it's not going to work that well. So for just the right person this cane might be five stars, but it's not going to work for most people. And even for just the right person, the lack of a safer tip option and a wrist band mean this is not a great product. -------- I'm honored to be included in the Amazon Vine program, and I work really hard to make these reviews and videos helpful. I’ve been going through a lot of surgeries lately and been using a cane and it’s nice that I found this. It’s difficult enough to have rely on a cane so having a very attractive one like this makes it a much easier pill to swallow. This cane is strong and well made. The silver brass knob is ornate and feels good in your hand with a good grip. It feels very solid and safe and looks great. Thank you for such a nice product. Excellent deal.

Needed a nice looking cane for an upcoming cruise trip. This was perfect. I use a cane, but not really for support, but as stability backup. My regular cane is nice, but boring. Wanted one that I could use when I dressed up and wanted to look sharp. It need to be able to blend with any outfit, and be disassembled to fit in luggage, and not look cheap. This excellent cane fit all my requirements and then some. I assembled it after it arrived, and I am quite pleased with how it looks and works. All the pieces screwed together very well, and the end result was elegant, while being quite strong and sturdy. I would not want to use this to go hiking around a foreign city, but for dinner or a show, it perfect. The head/handle is solid and feels wonderful in the hand. The black finish is even, smooth, and goes with anything. It has a sort of subdued elegance that is instantly noticeable. I really like this walking cane. A most excellent find.

i love the handle its super comfortable and easy to hold well but the wood they are using is terrible. the first one the wood piece in the middle was already split around 3-4" from where the middle screw is. i send in for a replacement and it was okay, noy great but useable overall. the two issues are first it ended up splitting in the same place of wood as the first one did after a week or so of use. now this one just started so its not nearly as bad yet but it will be soon. im going to see if i can use the head on one of my other canes but im not sure how ill get it to fit well. and second where the wood pieces join together each is larger then the one under it and the edges are somewhere sharp on the wood so i had to round those off some so they were not so sharp. fix those 2 things and this could be stellar
