I have two of these and my cat loves them both. One upstairs, one downstairs. She’ll hang out inside for hours and nap and or just chill there because she likes the cozy, enclosed space. That being said, it’s sort of down to the cat to decide if they like it. I have two because my sister bought one for her cat but he didn’t care about it and wouldn’t use it, so she gave me hers, since my cat is a fan. If your cat likes closets, cupboards, and other “den-like” spaces, this will probably be a winner. Overall, not fancy or particularly high quality but worth the price. It was lightweight. We have a dog that loves her "cave", and so we got this for her because her last one wore out. She was so excited to see her new cave, but the opening was smaller than the other one, and in general, it just wasn't the quality that we were looking for. Probably great for a smaller animal - our toy poodle is 9 lbs, and is about 8" tall. ... show more

I have two cats, one a ten pounder and another (Mr. Abbott) a 16 pounder. I am no lover of Amazon reviewers who post four minutes after receiving a shipment, 'Omg "IT LOOKS AMAZING!" I have owned these two cat houses for 15 months and both cats don't really like them. Maybe I ordered the sizes one too small--but neither cat likes or uses these houses no matter what, even in the coldest weather. Both Zoe and Abbott in fact IGNORE these houses, even when situated next to the warmest damn place in this Upper New York State home in early freezing February. Not sure what this is about. I could say something but the kitties say something more which is CAVEAT EMPTOR. As in the attached photo, they just wanna lie somewhere else this cold dark night and that's the end of my review, Zoe and Abbott are placing this review. My cat loves being in this little hut. She’s in it almost all the time. The base of it is not super firm so sometimes it falls over a little. It’s easy to take care of. It’s just right size. My cats, two, like both of the caves that were purchased. I placed to hand towels as a padding for that winter warmth, the cats enjoy this. I will remove the hand towels for a cooler cave.

My cat is above average, but not that big. He tried and tried, but couldn't get inside 😿. I'm disappointed that it only comes in one size.
