My daughter (20) is in Texas for a religious mission and had been looking for scrapbooking stuff to save her memories. I sent this out to be there in time for her birthday. Book is nice sized, hardback, with tight binding. Paper is thick with lines if wanted to add notes about the pictures/things glued to the page. It's got a nice old fashioned look and feel to it that shows high quality. It was exactly what she was hoping for! Super super good quality, as well as assortment. Lots of good things for the price! I absolutely adore the paper and the cover and the variety that this set comes with, but if you want to use the journal to scrap book, the binding is so tight that after several entries you're going to see damage to the spine, meaning keeping it in good condition long term is going to be difficult.
