My only downside was I had to zip tie them to the railing going to my basement instead of wrapping around the railing becuase the ornaments were to big to squeeze in between the wall and the railing. ... show more

We carefully unfolded the garland from the box and I was impressed that there was little mess left behind. We have a little pup that tries to eat everything off the floor, so we were extra careful with this process. We fastened one garland to the staircase, though it’s malleable and we could have weaved it through. For the other, we placed it on the mantle. This garland is fantastic and is just what I needed. The Garland uses AA batteries so the only change I made was to buy a AA battery AC/DC adapter so that I could plug it in. Amazon sells those too.
