This soy candle was hand poured with love by Encoink. Encoink is a Chinese brand that has an Amazon storefront. They sell various novelty items including some candles with risque messages (and you thought this candle’s message was irreverent). The vendor lists the candle’s dimensions as being 2.8"W x 3.4"H. I measured and confirmed that these dimensions are accurate. The vendor gives the item weight as being 0.7 pounds (11.2 ounces) which is significantly lighter than the candle’s actual weight. The candle’s weight with the lid is 14.498 ounces. The weight without the lid is 14.321 ounces. The candle contains 7 ounces of wax so a little over half the candle’s weight is the jar. This is pretty normal. In order for a jar to safely contain the burning wax, the jar needs to be made of thick, quality glass. The lid is lightweight and made of some sort of nonferrous (nonmagnetic) metal, possibly aluminum. The lid has a nice design printed on the top (a circle of 6 strands of wheat seeds around the perimeter with a drawing of a wheat plant in the center). I took pictures because my description doesn’t do it justice. I took pictures of the candle top in the box so you can see how the candle is packaged. I trimmed the wick of the candle and took apart the trimmed portion and confirmed that it is a wax coated, 100% cotton wick. The manufacturer rates this candle as having a 35 hour burn time. I conducted a burn test and agree with the vendor’s description that the candle is clean and even burning. The candle has a gentle and pleasant Lavender scent. I burned the candle for a total of 8 hours and 57 minutes over several sessions. During this time, 1.692 ounces of wax was consumed. I calculate that it would take 38 hours and 28 minutes burn time to consume all the wax. However, the National Fire Protection Association cautions that one shouldn’t burn a jar candle once there is less than half an inch of wax in the jar, so one has to reduce the burn time by a few hours as a result. The end result is that the burn test almost perfectly matches the manufacturer’s 35 hour burn estimate. I took pictures of the candle post burn. ... show more

I got this for my maid of honor for my wedding who was also my sister and she loved it. This is a funny and cute gift. It's nice that it's versatile enough that you could give it to anybody when you're planning a wedding. It smells really good too! I'd say it burns at a normal pace compared to any other candle I've seen and the scent when lit fills the room after a while ... show more

Fun tongue-n-cheek humor surrounds a simplistic candle.. its a sweet gesture gift for all the crazy caused by a wedding for those involved.. statement is universal and can be gifted to bridesmaid, family, friend, etc. Label done in whimsical print thats easy to read with a handmade touch- it wont detract from gift itself. Medium size poured into mason style jar with metal lid- arrives a gift ready in a small box. Scent is subtle and not offensive.. just unfortunately barely noted. When lit- it's best to use x1-2ft. away ie, on a desktop, nightstand, tub side.. close enough to enjoy. Has a clean/quick burn- lasts approx. 25hr. before spent. The funny saying on the front had everyone cracking up when I showed this to my family .
