These shoes only fit skinny/narrow feet

I loved the perforated/breathable slip on style of these. However not having 1/2 sizes to choose from made it difficult to find the right fit. I wear a 7.5 and chose the 8 because some customers reported the shoe running tight. In my case, it was the opposite! The size 8 felt a full size larger and looser on the sides (more like an 8.5). I even used an orthotic insert, and they were still too loose! I do have a medium to narrow foot, so if you’re like me, stuck between two sizes, size up if you have wide feet and down if they are narrow. The shoe is lightweight and the sole feels flexible. I will be exchanging these.

When I initially took these out of the box I didn't think I would like them by the feel of them in my hands; however, once I put my insoles from my podiatrist in, and wore them, I realized I liked them. The more I wore them, the more I liked them. I read a review on here that mentioned these shoes don't have arch support. I find that many shoes don't offer good arch support, so I have several insoles from my doctor that I put in all of my shoes. The insoles that I have made these shoes perfect to wear while I'm at work and out and about. I really like the style of these shoes and the material used. I say this because I tried on other all black shoes, including Vans, and I noticed how much lent collected on the pair of Vans. These shoes from FunkyMonkey do not collect lent like the other shoes I've looked at. This is important to me because I have 3 dogs that shed a lot. I looked for months for all black shoes. I looked on Jane.com, at several stores, and other places online. These are the first to offer what I was looking for. They fit my feet fine. I'm anywhere from a size 7 1/2 to an 8 1/2. I bought an 8 in these.
