This is a leisure hat, not to be worn when being too active... unless you want to wear it to play tennis, but this will stain easily with sweat. My daughter absolutely LOVES this cute hat from Funky Junque. She'd been looking for a sporty, lightweight hat for playing pickleball, but it's been difficult to find hats in kids sizes that fit her larger sized head. This hat was perfect. It was roomy, lightweight, and has just a little bit of stretch making it easy to adjust to any size head or hairstyle. I loved how bright white the fabric was, making it look very striking alongside the neon pink embroidered accents. I wasn't familiar with this brand beforehand, but the logo on the front looks very professionally done. Overall, it's a nice, high quality hat that feels every bit as nice as the hats we've purchased from our local sporting goods stores. Feels like solid construction on this hat, like it should last awhile and survive trips through the wash if I so choose. At the same time, very light in weight so good for running. The Velcro strap in the back adjusts for a fairly large range of head sizes. Has a very slight misshapenness at the sides near the temple area, but nothing significant. Pardon the pun, but I run through running hats. I keep an eye out for good hats that wick moisture and breathe well. I think this one will do the trick. When I opened it, I thought it looks so good that I’m not sure I want to mess it up by sweating, then washing, then sweating, then washing. But I will still wear it to run. Like I said, I run through hats. One thing that has become important to me is the Velcro closure in the back. It tends to attach itself to other things in the dryer, so I often have to close it completely for washing, then open it again part way to fit my large head. That eventually wears out the “stickiness” of the Velcro. I got this one in a larger size and it fits perfect. I think it will last long. May it continue to look great, too! ... show more

This hat comes pretty much as depicted. It fits well my XL head and smaller sizes will do even better with fit. The quality is good. There no fray in the stitching or seams.
