When I bought this mirror I was hoping for a faux vintage look and I didn't have the highest expectations. I have purchased similar faux vintage items in the past that were cheaply made but you get what you pay for. However, when I received this mirror I was shook! Most similar mirrors I find in stores these days are vacuum-formed from thin hollow plastic, often with a plastic instead of glass mirror surface. This is the real deal, a solid heavyweight composite material with a beautiful antique gilt finish. The back is fully enclosed and covered with brown felt to protect your walls and has a riveted on auto-leveling hanger strip so you can be sure it will never fall off your wall. The best part is, at about twenty bucks it sells for about half what I’ve seen in stores. YES OR NO If you hold this next to one of those cheap vacuum-formed plastic mirrors the difference is night and day, this looks like it’s been in the family for years.
