These costumes (while extremely cute), are made overseas, and because of the cheap material and the fact that its photos lasered on the body, it's a crap shoot whether or not you'll get a perfect copy, or something that looks washed out and terrible. I took a chance and I'm glad I did, but I would order this as a back up, or with plenty of time to get a new costume if it arrives and it's not a good version. My husband and I wore these for an office Halloween party. I am 5 ft 4 inches with a stocky frame, he is 5 ft 10 inches and slim. Both outfits fit us with enough room to move our arms, sit down, and with enough room in the neck holes and arm holes. I wore it with a short sleeve shirt underneath, but you could do a long sleeved shirt underneath or depending on your size, a sweatshirt. The lasered-on photos looked exactly like a dark strawberry/grape jam, and the peanut butter looked sliiiiiiiiightly too light (if it was one shade lighter it could have been mistaken for butter), but with the jam part you know exactly what it is. Plus the sides and back are a detailed piece of bread. There's no velcro, no zippers, no snaps, no tags. Just put over your head and go. Extremely lightweight, but not so light that it would tear or unravel. The only way to describe the outfit is "spongy". They're light enough for teens and children to wear, but not so big that they'd drag on the ground or weigh a child down. I'm keeping them for future parties/Halloween events because yes, they are cheap, but the quality is decent enough to wear more than once. Again, my only advice is either buy 2 and see which version is better, or buy it with enough time to get something else if they're one of the moldy or faded versions other people have gotten.

This costume set was way higher quality than I was expecting, especially for such a low price. The texture of the food was pretty realistic and looked great. The set came wrinkled from being folded, but I steamed most of the wrinkles out. I was worried the color would fade or the foam would warp from the steamer, but it came out just fine. It was comfortable and very low maintenance. My coworker and I decided to dress up together, so this was perfect for walking around but was easy to take off when sitting at the desk. 10/10.

Remember last year when you went John’s Halloween party dressed as that obscure reference from that foreign film. You really liked the costume, until no one else understood what you were supposed to be. One by one people kept walking up to you and asking “What are you supposed to be?” As you would answer them a voice in the back of your head kept getting louder and louder. Finally after the 10th person asked you what you were supposed to be the voice was its loudest saying “Next year I am going to wear a sick ass costume! Something that when people see it they will know right away what it is and I will become the life of the party.” You thought about for a whole year until finally it was Halloween again and just when you were about to give up on finding the perfect costume you came across this. The Peanut Butter and Jelly costume set. The pinnacle of easy going and fun costume ideas. Allowing you to not only become the life of the party but to enjoy being the life of the party with your closest friend or loved one. Be warned this costumes potential at Halloween parties is unmatched as everyone knows what a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is and it can be daunting trying to find something to talk about since your used to explaining your costume. This costume excels at being identifiable, becoming closer with your sandwich partner, and enjoying yourself. Peanut Butter. Jelly. Peanut Butter and Jelly. Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Costume?!?!? There is no better Halloween costu-- No.... There is no better clothing a person can wear than the wonderful image of peanut butter or jelly on your chest. Think about it. You can wear all black (as shown in the picture) and look good. You can wear all white and look good. You can wear nothing and look good. You could probably even wear all pink and still look as sexy as the Old Spice dude without his shirt on. This product is not just for Halloween. It is for daily use. I haven't worn anything but this since I bought it 2 months ago. My girlfriend has broken up with me, my family disowned me, and my manager fired me, but it is all worth it because I am wearing peanut butter on my chest. There is only one downside to this wonderful clothing item (and this is a stretch because every review HAS to have a downside). The problem is that it doesn't actually give you peanut butter. Now don't go off not buying this miraculous gift from the Heavens because you don't get unlimited peanut butter by licking your shirt. That is a very slight downside that can be replaced with a simple trip to the grocery store. The grocery store would probably give you free peanut butter just for walking in there. In fact... I haven't tried that yet. I am going to the nearest grocery store right now. EDIT: It didn't work. After grabbing 14 jars of peanut butter, the manager told me to leave the store and leave the jars there. So I did.
