Description

Go wide with the FUJIFILM instax WIDE 400 instant camera in Green. Designed for larger-format instant photography, the instax WIDE 400 makes it easy to capture group photos, landscapes, travel memories and everyday moments in a wide instant photo format. Automatic Exposure and Flash Control help the camera adjust to shooting conditions, allowing you to focus on framing your subject rather than manually adjusting settings. The analog-style Self-timer makes group photography simple. Set the timer from 2 to 10 seconds, press the shutter button and use the LED countdown to know when the photo will be taken. For added flexibility, the included Camera Angle Adjustment Accessory provides two height options to help position the camera at the desired angle. Place the accessory beneath the camera, set the Self-timer and step into the frame for group photos, selfies and creative compositions. The instax WIDE 400 offers three focus modes for different shooting situations. Normal Mode is designed for everyday photos, Landscape Mode helps capture expansive scenery and Macro Mode works with the included Close-up Lens for subjects at close range. Two framing guides in the viewfinder help with composition for normal, landscape and close-up photography. The lens dial provides an easy way to turn the camera on and off and switch between focus modes. The textured Green body and included Shoulder Strap make the instax WIDE 400 easy to take along for travel, adventures, celebrations and everyday photography. A built-in tripod mount also provides another option for hands-free shooting; tripod sold separately. This bundle includes one Twin Pack of FUJIFILM instax WIDE instant film, providing 20 exposures, so you can start creating physical instant photos right away. Each instax WIDE finished photo measures approximately 3.4" × 4.3". Bundle includes the instax WIDE 400 Green instant camera, one Twin Pack of instax WIDE instant film with 20 exposures, Shoulder Strap, Camera Angle Adjustment Accessory, Close-up Lens, Quick Start Guide and 1-Year Limited Product Warranty.

    • Good camera, idea for family picture
Color: Green

I was really looking forward to this—it’s a birthday gift I bought for myself! I had read many reviews claiming the camera wasn't as good as expected and had various flaws. I was a bit worried, but after trying it out, I found it to be excellent—though I haven't tested it in various lighting conditions yet. The Instax Wide format is perfect for landscapes, gatherings with large groups of friends or family, or simply if you prefer a wider frame. Since the camera is a bit heavy, I don't think I'll be carrying it around everywhere like I would an Instax Mini. It’s a very cute camera, and I plan to use it to capture family moments ... show more

    • THE PERFECT INSTANT CAMERA FOR WEDDING GUEST BOOKS AND RECEPTIONS
Color: Green
TL;DR: The wide format film offers double the surface area of standard mini prints, making it easy to fit groups of people into a single frame. Including 20 exposures and the little angle adjustment block right in the box makes this bundle ready for events immediately. 📸 With my daughter's wedding coming up in 3 weeks, I picked up this Instax Wide 400 bundle to set out at the reception guest book table. Even though I shoot professionally with Canon R5 Mark II bodies, there is something special about handing guests physical wide prints that develop in 90 seconds. The mechanical self timer lever on the front has a satisfying ticking sound and gives everyone 4 to 10 seconds to jump into the frame. 📸 The included clip on close up lens and the tiny wedge accessory that angles the camera upward on a table save me from bringing along a mini tripod. Automatic exposure handles mixed indoor reception lighting surprisingly well, though it is a chunky body to hold in 1 hand. 💡 PRO TIP: Stick a small piece of white gaff tape or a diffusion sheet over half of the flash window when shooting close up portraits indoors so the strobe doesn't blow out pale skin tones. FINAL THOUGHTS If mini film feels too cramped for group events, this wide format bundle delivers classic physical prints with zero menu fuss. As an exclusive contributor to a prominent stock media agency with 25 years of experience in freelance photography and videography, I offer informed and professional opinions of camera and video equipment. I will update this review if anything changes within 1 year. ★★★★★ (5 Stars): A 5-star rating indicates the product meets my expectations for its purpose. ... show more

    • Film kept getting jammed
Color: Green
Super bummed about the quality of this camera. The film kept jamming and the counter was off so I kept opening it thinking all the exposures had been used and would wind up accidentally exposing existing film. By the time I took my trip and realized the issue it was too late to return it.

    • Very fun. Wish it had more options for experts.
Color: Green
As an experienced film photographer, this camera's biggest appeal for me is that it immediately produces prints that are larger than a 6x9 negative along both dimensions, with a slightly wider landscape orientation. The aperture is fixed at f/14 and the shutter speed ranges from 1/64 to 1/200 second. There are no manual overrides, so you are pretty much stuck with whatever the camera chooses. This is a sad situation, as I find the camera tends to overexpose images in daylight. I find that the viewfinder frame is very unfaithful at portrait distances, so you really need to give yourself a margin around the edge. This is the biggest complaint I have. Prints are fairly low-contrast. It definitely reproduces the retro look and feel that everyone associates with instant film. The build quality of the camera is actually fairly robust, and I never worry about light leaks. I think this camera is a good value if you want some fast, fun, retro looking prints for a special occasion. ... show more

    • Wide and a bit fancy
Color: Green
Instant cameras are the best gift, everybody should have one at home, and the wide version is my favourite. The bigger prints look more elegant and fancy than the mini ones, it feels like a real photo. Picture size is the whole reason to choose this, the wide format fits a group of friends or a whole street without cutting anyone off. Ease of use is great too, the self timer with the LED countdown and the angle accessory make group shots from a table so easy. The quality feels sturdy and it's been reliable, no blank frames so far. The accessories are so fun, the angle stand, a close up lens, a shoulder strap and 20 shots of film. The value for money is good, getting that much film thrown in makes it cheaper than buying the pieces separately. I absolutely love it!! ... show more

Like pretty much every other Fuji I've owned (X100VI, X-Half, XT3), the instax Wide 400 leans hard into the retro look. It's chunky, the lens ring doubles as the power switch and focus-mode selector, and the green finish looks like it came out of a '70s department store catalog (in a good way!). The format is the real reason to get this over a Mini. The "traditional" Mini prints have always felt a bit tiny to me — fine for a wallet or the fridge, but fit more than two or three people in the frame and everyone's face ends up about the size of a pencil eraser...maybe even smaller. Wide prints are about twice the size of a Mini print, which makes them great for landscapes and group shots, and the camera works just fine turned vertically for portraits, too. Print quality is exactly what you'd expect from instax: washed out, a little soft, with those vintage-y colors that make every shot look like it's been sitting in a shoebox for 30 years. The lens elements are plastic, so it won't win any sharpness contests (I have other cameras for that), but nobody buys an instax for sharpness, and the prints are as charming as you'd expect, and way more enjoyable, simply because they're bigger. Exposure and flash are both automatic, so there isn't much to fiddle with besides the focus mode (0.3 - 0.9m, then 09.m to infinity). The bundle also includes a close-up lens/selfie mirror attachment and a little angle-adjustment stand for self-timer shots. The attachment is kind of annoying to carry around — one more loose piece to keep track of — but the camera works fine without it, so unless you're planning on close-ups or selfies, it can stay home. It's mostly useful for the little mirror. There's also a self-timer mode switch right on the front, so you can set it down for your group shots. It's powere by 4 AA's (included), and also comes with both a next strap and a lanyard, so you have carrying options right out of the box. One consideration: Wide film is a bit more expensive per shot than Mini film, so every press of the shutter costs you a little more. Personally, I'll take that trade — if I'm paying for instant prints, I'd rather be able to see who's in them. ... show more
