I haven't gone through an entire pack of film yet, but my first impression is very positive. I've owned the original version of the Instax mini printer since it first came out and it still works flawlessly; I have shared many, many of the cute little prints with my grandkids. As much as I enjoy those prints, I've often wished for larger prints with a bit better resolution and color. This printer fulfills that wish. The media could not be loaded. I started using my printer asap and I love it! I had to charge it for about an hour before I started using it. If you try turning it on beforehand, the button (middle part of the printer where it says INSTAX) will flash yellow to let you know its low on battery. When you plug in the charger, the button will flash white to let you know it's charging. When it stops flashing anything, it means its fully charged. To turn it on, press and hold the button and it'll light up in multiple colors before changing to white--this means its on and ready to be used. Make sure to download the app (you can find the app name on the box). To turn it off, press and hold it again. The light will fade away and turn off completely. Picture quality is pretty good. The app is easy pretty easy to use too. So far the printer is great and I'm happy I bought it. ... show more

my first order was stolen, and Amazon was gracious enough to resend another order. 5 stars for that. the printer works exactly the same as their other versions (square and mini). picture quality is great, depending on the subject matter and camera being used. a bad photo will...print badly...no matter what. the bad part is the app you must download in order to use this printer. it's got lots of extra stuff it doesn't need, making the app large and clunky. beware: you must order film since it is not included. Amazon seems to have the best price per pack of film. keep in mind the film is twice as expensive as the mini film. enjoy! ... show more

So I never meant to end up with all 3 sizes of instax printers but it happened. I purchased the mini originally because I wanted more control over the picture and to stop wasting prints on blurry, badly lit messes. Then the square came out and I tried to hold off because what I really wanted was a wide printer, but they didn't come out with that for years so I ended up buying the square. Then when I totally forgot about it, I saw a youtuber reviewing the wide printer and it almost felt so surreal when I went and purchased it. I've literally been waiting years for this! It has met all my needs and dreams (mostly). Instax wide is definitely the way to go. The sizing is the best, giving you a picture to really look at instead of having to squint your eyes at the mini or crop the image significantly with the square. The printer works as it should, and FINALLY connects via bluetooth instead of wifi (like the other 2 printer sizes use). Quality seems pretty great, just try not to over contrast your photos or they'll come out like crap (true for all the printers). I did notice that it still crops a bit of your image, whereas if you landscape it on a mini instax it captures the whole picture (why is that???) so that is a bit annoying, so I did have to take 1 star off for that because I thought instax wide would finally be the platform where we don't have to crop anymore at all. The wide has all these features which I never plan on using (linking QR code to video/sound, adding doodles) but it's cool that they have them available. This is still my favorite printer! I love this thing. I still can't believe I have all 3. Along with the instax mini90. Totally looks like I'm a huge instax enthusiast when really I was just waiting for the instax wide printer all along. Hopefully they come out with my variety of wide film instead of just black and white boarders. ... show more

La instax Link Wide, es una impresora muy practica, liviana y fácil de transportar además de ser muy fácil de usar conectándose vía Bluetooth a cualquier smartphone e incluso a cámaras fotográficas de Fujifilm. Utiliza el formato Wide para las fotografías el cual a mi parecer tiene una leve mejora en resolución y reproducción de color que las otras impresoras Instax pero no esperen calidad profesional, esto sigue siendo un producto destinado al usuario promedio que no necesita la máxima calidad si no que solo tener sus fotos impresas y también vivir la experiencia de ver aparecer tu fotografía lentamente al revelarse. Respecto a la compra de este producto en Amazon y el envió, yo compre desde Chile a un precio bastante conveniente y el envió solo tardo 1 semana sin necesidad de pagar adicional, fue enviado por DHL EXPRESS. Todo viene muy bien empacado en una caja un poco mas grande que la del producto y con bastante bolsas de aire para su protección. Para quienes vivan en Chile o Latinoamérica y no cuentan con estos productos de forma oficial...les recomiendo Amazon para conseguirlo. Saludos.- ... show more

I returned the Kodak Mini Retro 3 because it was just garbage. I ordered this next and since I received it I have fallen in love with it. i have already printed 40 photos from it and used the prints as gifts of some of my photography as gifts and people just adore them. Photo quality is good for the Polaroid print look you get. I got the printer on sale for $129, at that price i think it was worth it. Wish film was cheaper but will order more film when it goes on sale again for $18. The app is very easy to use as well. ... show more
