If you're looking for an affordable pack of panties in a comfortable "granny" style, I'd recommend these. The band is non-scratchy, wide enough not to bite, and stays put nicely above my navel, even though I'm pear-shaped with a big belly. The leg openings are also spacious enough for thick thighs without being highcut. The cotton isn't soft as kittens or anything, but it's comfortable, decently sturdy and well-stitched, and doesn't make me sweat like some synthetic fabrics. These received 4 star for me simply because of sizing/fitting. They ran larger for me than I expected. I gave them a hot wash and high heat setting in the dryer to see if that would do it, but they don’t shrink! :) As far as material, very soft and comfortable. Color did not fade in wash/dry. Looked good in tighter denim, just a size issue.

These do not bind in the crotch area like so many do. The leg openings are just right, not too tight. I have owned many pairs and they hold up after many washings in the laundromat machines, even in hot water and high dryer heat. Also the price here is better than the stores.

I ordered 12 Plus. They came in packaged without the visible size on the front of the package and I had to look close to find a little tab on back that said the size. I opened and couldn't believe the size difference in each pair of pants. Some were huge in the length and width, but shorter in the waist. I had just ordered and received the same brand (higher price) from another vendor on Amazon and they fit great. The size seemed wonky but the price was great --and I had opened them so I kept them. I knew I had made a mistake the first time I put one on. They were uncomfortable--size seemed to be off. I checked sizes and found they were different sizes included in the package. I was unhappy with the irregularities of the underwear. The price is good and maybe my experience was not the norm. I was reluctant to return because I had opened the package. You might have a better experience.
