I developed shingles on my abdomen and spent a few days commando because I was in so much pain and couldn’t stand anything against my skin but a nightgown. I had a drs appointment and was agonizing about showing up in a nightgown and bathrobe at the office. Then I I remembered my grandma used to wear boy leg high waisted undies so looked for something similar. These underpants by Fruit of the Loom were inexpensive and seemed to be similar to what I thought might work, so I ordered a four pack. They were very reasonably priced and when they arrived were of very good quality and well made. They were snugger fitting than I had hoped but were very very soft for tender areas on my abdomen. As it was, the snugness was comforting as they stay in place and act as a barrier between the sore rash areas and light clothing. I’ve never experienced the discomfort of nerve pain from wearing clothes andI’m so glad I happened on to these. I’m on the mend now but still wearing these as I’ve developed some neuralgia and these continue to keep me comfortable. ... show more

Got these to go under dresses since most of the ones out are a "sticky" stretchy fabric that my dresses seem to just cling to. These are a nice, smooth, almost satiny fabric. Very comfortable and no chafing on my legs. I like that the multipack came with different colors. Also, appreciate the price!

I had been looking a long time for something along the lines of boxers for ladies. I like these best out of all I found. I ordered on the larger side (deliberately). A few commenters said these were "granny panties", and it's true, when you first open the package they look HUGE. But that's because they're boxers. Once you put them on, they look normal. My favorite thing is that if my kids need something in the night, I can get out of bed wearing these and not look "naked": they're not see-through at all, there's no risk of pubic hair showing, and your butt's not hanging out. Just like boxers, but silkier and thinner and no fly. They have an unusual crotch, either you love it or hate it. Basically there's no elastic leg bands to sit in that indentation where your inner thighs attach to your crotch. So it's freeing, but it's also a little strange after years of wearing panties. The sewn crotch material spreads side-to-side; it forms a diamond instead of a rectangle, so you get some extra absorption right around your inner thighs, which is nice since most underwear can't do that. I find the only real drawbacks are that 1.) like I said, it's a little different to get used to, and 2.) because the crotch isn't fitted, sometimes in humid weather I'll develop some standing sweat right between my inner thighs and crotch because the fabric doesn't quite reach that spot (though after all, that's why I got them). I'm sorry if this review is TMI, but it's very hard to know from the picture and good-fitting panties can be such a hard thing to find. ... show more

I would HIGHLY recommend these briefs - I wasn't sure when I ordered them if they were going to be what I expected or what size to choose - but they far exceeded anything I was imagining. They are lightweight, soft, comfortable - it's like you're not wearing anything at all! They don't ride up nor does the wait elastic bind - they are like a second skin. I am not a plus size person, so I was really unsure about what size to choose - I wanted something that would fit loosely enough to sleep in but not be so big as to fall off when I stood up. I am 5'2" and weigh 140 lbs, - I got size 10 and they are just right, which I hope helps with someone who is trying to determine what size to get. You get several pairs in various colors in one package for a very reasonable price. I'm thinking I should order another package before they run out! I sized up three sizes on the Boxer Briefs, to a size 10 because I had been buying Asian size underwear, and They are typically made much smaller. If you buy a typical European or USA size, they are typically far too small. These, however, were very large (due to my sizing error). I decided to use them as a culotte slip. That works well. I am glad I kept them. They are well-made. The material is comfortable, cool and feels nice. The waist hangs on my hip because of my sizing error. Still, it works as a comfortable culotte slip.
