If your on the fence about size, take the larger size. Waste band will keep them up and they do shrink. Wash them a couple times before wearing them if you want to keep your junk comfy. Personally, I find them to be a bit abrasive right out of the package. THEY STAY UP if that is your main concern. I was a tad worried about that since they don't have an external waistband. However, these stay up great, and they don't chafe at the waistline. I'll probably buy another pack just to throw on the shelf. Feels great. It's very light. Very smooth feeling. If you don't get something that's pleated I think is the word. You might find yourself being a little exposed at first just wash them and it should be fine, You know how it is, just wearing new things. Otherwise a very nice product. I intend to buy more. These Fruit of the Loom boxer's are exactly what I've been looking for. I am around 38" - 40" waist so I was worried that the Large size would not be big enough. No worries, the Large size fits very comfortable.

I got these for my boyfriend and I to share we needed underwear. We both typically wear a medium or large in underwear.
