These don't seem to feel as thick as the boy's socks, but I'm sure that's to be expected. These are nice and soft, the colors are bright and pretty, too! My daughter is 7.5, pretty thin, and wears a size 12 shoe. These fit her foot perfectly, but I'm worried they might be a bit tight above the ankle. I'll have to double-check the size I ordered in relation to her shoe-size to make sure it wasn't shopper's error. I do kind of wish all of the socks had colored toes, only for personal reasons: The all white look a lot like her brother's. Lol All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase. Small socks disappear constantly. These are a good value, comfortable for the child to wear with tennis shoes, and wash well. Fruit of the Loom has not solved the disappearance problem but that's not really their fault.

Ok I tried to decipher the reviews on what size to order my granddaughters (age 3, 5) socks. I went large and they are too large....more for a 10-12 year old. Well, anyway the socks are super soft and cushiony so because of that I'll reorder the right size of these socks. I'm keeping these for my older granddaughters.
