I wanted something to dress up the front of my WRX without spending a ton of money. I daily drive the car, and know this lip will take a beating so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. The fit is actually really good, not perfect, but you can't tell if you aren't nit picking. You have to screw into the bumper, but is easy to install with a drill (and taking the bumper off). The screws provided have done a good job so far. The lip is just a basic black plastic similar to a plastic bumper cover that isn't coated or primed/painted, so nothing special. You could paint it if you wanted a different look, but it doesn't look bad by itself. If this one cracks, I won't hesitate to just buy another one.

Easy install, it bolts on either side in the fender well area, and then came with self tapping screws to secure it throughout the rest of the lip to the bumper. I got the unpainted black.

I purchased this lip about a month ago for my 2013 STI Hatch for $64.99. The price has since dropped to $53.89. A fair deal for what you're getting, it sure beats those EZ Lips. Fitment was great, and the hardware it came with was more than sufficient to hold the lip. IIRC, there are 12 precut holes throughout the lip, all you have to do is drill into your bumper. I recommend test fitting and installing from the center out. Also, before installing, i recommend taking it out of the box and letting it sit in the sun for a few hours to allow it to return to its natural shape because it comes slightly curved in it's box. The reason for my missing star is that it came with a few noticeable scratches along the side. Not a big deal, but noteworthy.

After unboxing the lip, the finish was what I expected, not perfect at all but at least it was painted fully. The biggest letdown was the physical shape it was in. It arrived bent and in a shape when put on the car left visible gaps. Quality is horrible.

For the price, you really cant go wrong. Good quality so far, super easy install. I also ended up purchasing bumper clips separately for attaching at the wheel well, i recommend it. (installed on 2011 wrx sedan)
