They are not kidding about the catnip being fresh from the field. This stuff is great and my cats love it. The container is stuffed to the top with catnip and it is obviously very fresh. The container holds 2 oz. which does not sound like a lot but it is plenty. We will have this for a long time. We are really pleased. If you are looking for good catnip for you "nip head' cats, get this. My cats are rolling around on the floor and on thier scratchers loving it.

Cats lead a very stressful life. Balancing napping for 20 hours a day, demanding food for at least 1 hour per day, eating and showing affection for about 15 minutes per day, they deserve to be crazy stoned on catnip the remaining time. This is a very economical sized container of feline stress reducing herb. My cats say enough of this stuff and we might up our affection time to 20 minutes a day.

They choose this brand over the Yeowww brand as well, nothing against them but this stuff seems fresher and a bit higher quality. I also have to leave it in the bag it came in because my cats will attack the container, one of them will even carry it around with him when he wants some. Keeping it in the bag just ensures if they pop the top, it doesnt make a mess.

The tub I recieved has a much weaker scent than their stalk free catnip and their catnip valerian mix. One cat reacted to it and the other doesn't, so it helped find something my mom's cat likes.

the product arrived quickly and it was not spilled (that was my concern). It does not come with shrink wrap on it so that may happen to you. In any way, the product doesn't look super fresh (yellow and very dry) but MY CAT LOVES IT, so whatever! :)
