I'm pretty busty, 38G, and I've been on the search for a good bra - comfortable, sexy, functional, can be worn under a t-shirt, etc... This bra is all of that. I've tried doing "research" and finding affordable bras that carry the larger sizes, but they really (in my experience) just aren't made well. I can't tell you how many bras I've bought and ended up returning or donating. In my opinion, spending $70 on a bra seems outrageous, but you have to think of it as something you need and wear everyday, so the investment is well worth it. I've found that with other large sized bras, the underwire bows out and jams into the underside of your arm, so far, this bra has not done that. I honestly forget I'm wearing it. And yes, you will need to readjust your boobs "down and out" a few times throughout the day, but that will happen with almost any bra. I'm just glad I don't have to do it every 10 minutes like I did with all the other bras I've tried. I've also already washed it (in a mesh laundry bag and air-hang dried it) and it held its structure very well. The only complaints I have are: 1) The band size is pretty tight. I'm on the last hooks and it's quite snug. However, that might end up helping the cups and underwires fit better in the long run, who knows. But perhaps consider buying one size up in the band. The cups are round and fit perfect, though! 2) The tag is on the left side of the bra under the underarm. Really annoying when I put my bra on, as I turn it around to hook the bra from the front, then twist it back around. The tag sticks out and I have to readjust, but don't want to remove it so I can refer back to the bra details. Anyway, I would highly recommend this bra.

This bra is so supportive and comfortable, it’s become my everyday choice. It comes in cute colors as well as basics. I used to love the Panache Porcelain, but it’s nearly impossible to find at an affordable price. This Freya t-shirt bra is almost exactly like the Porcelain, but the cups aren’t as “balconette” shaped, so they don’t cut into my flesh. Therefore this bra is even better than my old stand-by Porcelain. Someone mentioned in a review that the Freya t-shirt bra looks “huge”. I must admit, even my relatively small 30E made me think I was sent the wrong size. But, when I put it on, it fit like a glove, and felt truly comfortable. I actually sighed. If you’re reading this, you likely know that band size is critical for any type of lift and shaping, American sizing makes bras shift all over my body, while squishing the “girls” into my armpits. When will American bra designers get a clue? No, a 34D “sister size” does not fit! How could it? This Freya t-shirt bra is wonderful, sturdy, and high quality. If you need small bands with larger cups this is worth a try. Great buy for me!

I purchased this identical bra directly from Freya and loved it. I ordered another one from Amazon. The bra received from Amazon is not constructed from the same material. The tags are attached in a different location on this bra than the original from Freya. The material on the clasp is already peeling back. This bra feels like a cheap knockoff of the original Freya with impeccable fit. Is there such a thing as "knockoff" bras?? Are these typically sold on Amazon? Will be returning this Amazon purchase and will purchase directly from Freya or Nordstroms.

This bra fits pretty well. The band is a little tight around the rib cage but that may be bc I could possibly not be a true 32. I tend to flop between 32 and 34 but I plan on losing some weight so I plan on keeping it. The cups are true to size and I like how the straps fit well for me because I'm so short at 4'11" , I can sometimes have trouble getting the straps to be tight enough, even on the tightest adjustment. With this bra, the straps were tight enough. It's very supportive and an attractive bra! I expected it to be a little softer but it's not cardboard status either. It's nice! I'd say it is worth the price, it's well made. I got this in nude but I will probably get other colors at some point. It is pretty expensive, so that will take time. Id say get it! If u like your bras looser, go a size up in the band. If u like them more snug of a fit, go true to size.

I love the fit and support of the Freya Idol and have ordered multiple times over the years. It's a good t-shirt bra for larger bra sizes, supportive, discreet and relatively comfortable. The last two orders I've placed (Oct of 2025) have resulted in used bras packaged as new bras. They have smelled of perfume/deodorant and have deodorant residue in the armpit area of the bra, the first was stained as well. I returned the first for a replacement, and the replacement, although packaged and tagged as new, had clearly been worn as well. I'm not sure where they are being sourced, but the ones I received were clearly used, washed, and re-packaged as new. If you purchase, look them over carefully!

I purchased this model and two others recommended for my particular size: Panache Porcelain Elan and Fantasie Moulded Smoothing T-Shirt Bra. All were in a size 36FF. The Panache and the Fantasie cup shapes were not to my liking, but I adored the Freya cup shape. Uplifting, forward, and completely contained. However, the Freya band ran small. I returned the 36FF and ordered a 38F (one band size up, adjusting the cup size so that it would be equivalent to the 36FF). Perfect fit! I would recommend that you size up your band and adjust the cup size accordingly. The lifted cups are not padded, but are gently stiffened to hold their shape. They look fantastic under clothes, very flattering and shapely but still natural. Highly recommended for busty ladies, especially those who like an uplifted shaping effect. It makes you look a bit slimmer, too.

Loved this bra but had to return it. It is UK sizing, so be sure to look up US bra sizing equivalent! Had cute bow and white racer stripe stitching. Returning and reordering correct size.
