These are the best uniform pants I have ever bought my daughter! She loves them she can move around in them, they are soft and not stiff and they meet all the uniform requirements for her school. For reference my daughter is 4’4” and she weighs 80lbs. I order her a size 12. They are a little big but I would always prefer clothes to have some room to grow. The adjustable waist is awesome so there is no problem with these staying up. I am ordering another pair in the same size. We live in FL so they are the perfect pants to keep her warm in the winter (it’s been between in 50s lately and these have done a great job keeping her warm). Yes, I know the waist is adjustable. I have it tightened all the way and they still almost fall off. Not to mention because they are tighten all the way the fabric bunches weirdly in the waist and she complains about how it feels uncomfortable. for reference, i’m quite short (4’11) with a bit of a butt and it fits me really well. it’s stretchy and I like the fact that the waist is adjustable (elastic band with button to make the waist looser or tighter). one issue is that the front pockets are fake and there’s a real pocket in one of the front fake pocket but it is laughably tiny so I don’t know what else they do besides be there for design. the back pockets work and they’re decently sized. bought these as I need the pants for a volunteer uniform. ... show more

Firstly, these run really large. My child wears a size 6 in all other brands, so that’s what I ordered...but they are huge around the waist. I know it’s an adjustable waistband, but I had to pull it in so much, that there is excessive bunching on the waist and my child complained about how uncomfortable it was. Second, and more importantly, my child wore these to school twice and on the second wear, they have holes in both knees. Since these are school uniform pants, I expected them to be a lot more robust than this....especially for $20. I’m so disappointed. School uniforms are expensive as it is, without paying so much for only 2 wears. I won’t buy these again. ... show more

I love French Toast pants, they are sturdy and affordable. These stand up to recess and gym class and are worn frequently since my daughter wears a uniform every day, and doesn't like skirts. They are true to size, and easy to get on and off. They don't shrink too much or get too stretched out. The jump between sizes is pretty appropriate, we started buying these in size 7 and now are at a 10. I like this style because my daughter is big for her age (8), and so even if the length is too long in order to get the larger size waist and hips, they don't drag on the ground since they are legging style. They also fit my daughter much better than the same size in comparable popular brands that are "skinny" style. ... show more

The pants are actually pretty nice, but the size was a disappointment. My daughter normally wears a 7 in standard brands such as Carters, OshKosh, OldNavy, etc, so I ordered a 7, but these were huge on her. I tried using the adjustable elastic waist bands, but even at the smallest setting (which made the pants look awkward) they were still too big. For the price, it seems too much trouble to try to organize a return or exchange, so I might hold on to them for future use, or take them to be altered. But I really wanted pants she could wear right away, and these were unfortunately inaccurately sized. ... show more

I like the style, fabric, and flex of these pants. My daughter is 10, but very small for her age. I ordered her normal pant size (8). They were huge around the waist, but I was able to use the inner cinch to pull them tighter. I have to do this with most pants, but these were a little larger than normal. My real issue is with the length. They were above her ankles. So, if I size up for length they'll likely fall down due to the waist being too large. This type of fit may work for some (huskier and/or shorter than average), but count them out if you've got a skinny or tall kid. ... show more

When u get to 12-14 size that is considered Juniors I was searching for juniors when these pants popped up and I ordered them in a size 18 thinking it was juniors 18 is so small not even my niece who is not my daughter age can’t fit them🛑🛑 my My niece is 10 and her normal size is 12/14 lil girls these don’t fit. My child is a 13 and wear 16 in juniors i chose bigger size just incase and yet here we go again 18 smalls again ‼️‼️ Toddlers don’t go to size 18 nor do lil girls ... show more
