First of all, these def feel like VH knockoffs (I question the “leather” exterior (they reek of plastic when first opened)… time will most definitely tell me if my suspicions are true (I love them anyways!!!) BUT these babies are a BEAUTIFUL VE-version of GoldenGoose. They look freakin cool, what else can I say?? I have been waiting for a pair of these to return (and after waiting so long, I’ve become a white shoe snob, so bear with me!!) Pros: Comfy aF - wider width at the base of the shoe leaves me room for cushy socks (I have narrow feet). I purchased size 7 and have a little extra room at the toe for comfort (I have long toes so this is good thing for me). Ladies, I believe these are true to size!! The soles are extra foamy (feels like I’m walking on a firmer version of memory foam). There is def minimal arch support- so minimal that a photo can’t capture it.. I tried!! Wearability straight out of the box is 100% what you want from a sneaker. I wore them immediately without socks and had zero blisters/ discomfort when running errands around town. Cons: Hate the white laces (they’re a cooler tone of white and stand out terribly- and look cheap). (Obviously a snobbish thing to say but! It’s my review so 🤷🏻♀️) The VH imprint at the heel is too faint (I’d rather it not be there), and I don’t love the VH EST1954 stamp (the lines aren’t concise/ clean… again OCD and snobbery with this comment) … can we see a silver stamp ? Much easier to make it look clean on a white backdrop (I’m such a snob, who even am I after these shoes ..???) Bottom line, if you love the style at a fraction of the cost, these babies won’t disappoint. They are not of GG quality, but at this price point, who cares..? ... show more
