Fit granddaughter well, looks nice and flattering, which is important because it was a plus size. The only drawback was that being a plus size, the jumper is a bit too long. And because each pleat is crease-stitched, the jumper can't be shortened. The product description should have stated that the jumper could not be shortened. And it also should have given the length of the jumper (from base of neck in back, to hem). Also, the finished garment measurements in chest and waist should always be given. The formula for a good fit (followed by dressmakers) states that there should be at least 2 inches of ease (wiggle room) in the chest, 2 inches in the waist, and 3 inches in the hips. These guidelines apply to all garments that don't stretch, such as this jumper. Including the FINISHED garment measurements will allow buyers to determine proper fit before buying. Manufacturers take note: Include this information in EVERY product description if you want customers to buy again..

Last year my daughter wore a similar style French Toast uniform in Khaki. This year we have this same style uniform in Khaki from another brand but the fabric seems lighter and it holds stains, and I have already had to toss 1 khaki uniform in the trash even though we are only 4 months into the school year. Ordered these by French Toast because I knew they would be good quality and I ordered them in black this time hoping to not spend my laundry day fighting stains. These are exactly what I expected. They do not show stains unless she drops something like yogurt on them. They do not hold stains. They wash well and it is easy for me to steam the wrinkles out if there are any at all after washing. I would recommend French Toast.

This is a nice school dress. A little different from varieties in our local stores. And it’s nice to be able to provide my daughter with any variety when she has to wear a uniform. I ordered a size so she could wear it longer. It’s loose but not unsightly so. She likes it and the quality seems good. She seems to be comfortable with a polo and leggings (or shorts) underneath and a sweater on top. I’ll buy this again when it’s time.

After reading reviews I decided to order one size up for my daughter. She normally wears a size 6. The size 7 was too long, and wide. She is 5, 42 pounds, and 43 inches tall. I am exchanging ot for a size 6. I gave it five stars because It is really well made and very cute. It was my fault I ordered it too big.

I love that my daughter has to wear a uniform to school. It eliminates many arguments in the morning over what to wear. French Toast is my go to brand for many of her clothing items. This well made dress is loved by both by my daughter and I. She’s a giant 6 year old so of course I bought her a size 7. What’s great is that she will outgrow it before it falls apart! Most of her school clothes are the opposite, it falls apart before she outgrows it.
