These Boys' Slim Fit Tapered Leg Stretch Twill Pants from French Toast are extremely well made, albeit a bit confusing to me. They are cut slim with slash pockets and belt loops, so they look dressier. But the cotton twill fabric is heavy and has a brushed cotton feel to the surface, which makes them look more rugged. But after thinking about it, there is absolutely nothing wrong with pants that can go from school to tree climbing- as a matter of fact, it might be a stroke of brilliance. Continuing in that vein... these pants are so well made to hold up that they actually have reinforced knees. On the inside there are patches at the knees, and the reinforcement feels stretchy, so not only will the knees not wear out, they also won't bag out. There is also elastic on the inner waistband so that the pants can be adjusted as a child grows. I also like that the pockets are deep enough to hold small items without losing them, and the button at the waist doesn't really button... it's actually a hook and eye closure, which is much easier for a kid to deal with. In looking these pants over more closely, I can see that they are beautifully constructed with straight seams and no sloppy work anywhere to be found. They are a little heavy for summer and that works perfectly because they are also a tiny bit loose on my grandson. Which means that as the cooler weather comes, he will be growing into these, and of course the waist adjustment will help him to stay in them longer. These pants have so many great details, I don't know why they are only costing $15. for this level of quality, but I've already ordered the khaki pair as well. Fantastic pants!

These French Toast Boys Slim Fit Pants are great pants for young, bigger boys and I got them for my grandson. He currently is wearing a size 16, but since these are slim, skinny fit, I sized up and got a size 18 and the fit on him is good. They still have the slim fit look, they still are easy put them on, take them off, but they don't fit so slim skinny that he is uncomfortable. He just looks good. So, for me, sizing up a size was a good idea. The pants have a regular waistband; a hook eye closure; a zipper front; and pockets in both the front and back. These are great pants for school, casual, dress, or church or a wide variety of events and locations. I rate them a 5 out of 5.

Well made pants fit true to size. The material is a heavier weight, so it should hold up well. They also have a lot of stretch. I really like the adjustable elastic in the waist for customizing the fit. Great pants and a great value!

My grandson is tall and lean for his age, which makes buying clothes for him a challenge. Pants with the right length for him tend to run really big around the waist. French Toast Boys Slim Fit Twill Pants to the rescue! These are well-constructed pants made of a quality twill fabric. I really love the finish on these--and especially the adjustable waist. Inside the waistband, there are buttons on either side of the clasp with a hidden elastic "belt," allowing you to secretly cinch the waist. Genius! On top of all the great qualities of these pants, the current price of $8.24 is a bargain! These kids' pants are a winner, and a great option for a school uniform that, due to the flexible sizing of the waist, can hopefully last the kiddo a full school year, if not longer. Five stars!!

The name brand was quite cute and perfect for kids. I got a size 6 for my 5 year old and it fits him a little long but that is ok, partly because I want him to grow into it. The material was super soft and kind of stretchy but good quality. Doesn't looks to be too thick but that's ok because it is better for kids. For the affordable price, I am grabbing a few more pairs to complete his school uniform. If they offered bulk price then that is even better but it looks like they don't at the time of this review. Looks to be made of 98% cotton. I'd think the cotton material is very easy to clean and wash in the washing machine, along with other clothes.

These French Toast Boys’ Slim Fit Tapered Leg Stretch Twill Pants are ideal for school or play. They feel durable, but not heavy. The fabric is made of 98% cotton and 2% elastane, which makes these pants soft and comfortable. I appreciate the hook and eye closure, instead of a button, which makes it easier for young children to use. Also, there’s an inner adjustable waistband which allows customizable fit. These pants in navy blue, is an attractive dark blue color that can transition from school uniform to evening attire for dinner. I am pleased with the style and comfort of these pants. I am sure my sons will get many years of use from them.

These pants are very nice and will work well for my son during the holiday season. The material is good quality, and the sizing is accurate. They are definitely a slim fit. My son is taller but thin so it is harder to find pants that fit him well. The material is a good thickness that I believe will keep him warmer during the winter months as I’m planning for him to wear these for school events that require him dressing up, thanksgiving, Christmas dinners etc. They are good quality at an affordable price point. They pass all the tests!
