This was my second purchase of these particular boots. Still have have my first pair, tan color wear them for gardening, hiking, or if I need that color. Will likely have these for just as long, a few years till I destroy them. Best part of these boots is the traction they give me. I haven't slipped or lost a footing in them yet. Don't like the laces that they come with but you can easily change that out. Overall a great bargain for my needs.

WIDE is "actually" wide enough for my feet and fat toes to fit comfortably. Soft sole with good grip. Waterproof 2/3 way up, leaks at upper part of tongue (approx 5.5" from bottom of sole). Very LIGHTWEIGHT, seem durable after 2 weeks of use and look nice enough to wear out. Upper eyelets are loops, not hooks => no catching/snagging

I was about to go on a 2 week trip to Italy and if you’ve ever been, you know there’s A LOT of walking involved. I was very particular on what kind of boot i was looking for and these seemed to match. Thank God i bought them! Im a slightly heavyset guy and wanted something that would support my feet and ankles through the long treks. These were worth every penny. I even bought a pair of Dr. Scholls padded inserts for added insurance and they were fantastic! At the end of the day i felt tired from all the walking but my feet never hurt. These held up and stayed intact even a year later. I will buy another pair for sure.

These boots looked to be made fine. They were, however, far too slim for my wide foot to comfortably fit for more than a couple minutes. Returned.

These boots are a little loose around my ankle, however they keep my feet cooler than most other boots. For the money they are pretty good, tough, light weight and comfortable. I sprayed a water proofing on them and it seems to have held. All in all I'm pleased.

Disclaimer: This is not a paid or even prompted review. So I needed a pair of lightweight hiking boots for training and I waited until the last minute. The boots at the retail store and the ones "military-rated/brand" were easily $100+, so I took a gamble. I gave one star for the shoe because it was AFFORDABLE! This shoe earned another star due to its QUICK and TIMELY delivery. Another two stars came from the fact that I slid my foot in the shoe and the cushion didn't hurt my arches and I didn't need to break in the shoes at all!! Finally, this product is advertised as waterproof. Usually, that means it's splashproof, but I was hiking off-trail mountains (thank God for the traction) and crossing damp mud, wet rocks, and sometimes even stepping in puddles. The water did not penetrate my socks except for when I stood in a river for several moments and I think the majority of it soaking my socks was from my pants dripping. Con: The ankle part did sometimes dig in, but I am extremely bony and it didn't happen often. TLDR: comfortable, lightweight, waterproof hiking boots with great traction and grip, better than advertised.
