I gave this 4 stars even though there is room for improvement because they look stylish and my son loves them. My issues…he has fallen a couple times and it really hurt his knee having the zipper across it. (But, not a big deal if your kid isn’t going to be running around like crazy in these!) That was made a bit better when he wears athletic leggings underneath. As for improving on these…it would be great if they had an adjustable waist. At this age, kids still really need it. My son is 10 and needs a size 12 for height, but the waist is huge - even after I washed and attempted to shrink. Without a belt the waist falls under his butt completely.
