It fit like a large because I am apple shaped and the cup area was a bit small for a larger bust; so I might suggest sizing up if this sounds like your body type. The color is spot on, the boning and the ribbon lacing is very secure and does help tremendously when sculpting your figure. It’s also very comfortable to wear. The ONLY downside is that the bust area is not supportive if you have a bigger bust. You WILL spill out or will have to be pulling it up, adjusting constantly. This was a perfect gift that keeps on giving. It does have to be fitted to the individual. That is half the fun. The other half is removal to take to the dry cleaners. It does stain rather easily, but the brocade hides a lot. Goes great with Victoria's secret hunter green... or black, or red..
