I bought this for my son's 5th birthday party and he wouldn’t let us take it off once the party was over. The helmet fit perfectly! My son is tall for his age and wears a size 7 in clothes. The pants and jersey were long on him but it worked out because I ended up buying him real football pads and his socks helped keep his pants in place below the knee. The numbers took longer than expected to iron on to the back of the jersey but I was able to do it just fine! The jersey and pants are both thin and see through so I had him wear a white compression shirt underneath and white integrated football pants. Overall I’m extremely happy with this purchase and if your child is obsessed with football then you can’t go wrong with this! My son thinks this is a “real” uniform too and he’s one happy kid! ... show more

These are really cute for playing in and supporting your favorite team. It's definitely worth the money but they run very small. I bought a small for my son whose 5, 41lbs and the jersey looked 2 sizes too small. I did buy a large for my 7 year old whose 63lbs and it fits almost too perfect. He'll outgrow it pretty quickly. So if you're looking for something your kid can grow into, I recommend going 2 sizes up or just 1 size for short term. ... show more

My son loves this costume. You do have to iron on the numbers which I haven’t done yet but it looks easy enough. It’s super cute and he feels like a legit Patriots football player. The helmet is only for play, not hard but perfect for dressing up. The costume material is not high quality but can definitely be worn more than once.
