If I could give negative stars, I would. Believe me when I saw this smells worst than toilet water. I bought a good dupe from Amazon and thought this was it but it’s not. It really is not. Made the whole house stink. It’s horrible. I think my girl may leave me over it. I am not kidding, she left my house as I am writing this. I have never experienced regret and buyers remorse like this before. I am going to contact Amazon to get this removed. It is a scam and needs to be called out for being so. If they do not take it back it’s going into the trash. Please save your money. Run. Run far way. I’ve had the real and this is on the opposite side of that spectrum deep in the bowels of hell, pun intended. I have caused generational trauma using this in my house. A horrible product. Please do not subject yourself to this. I wouldn’t want to give this to someone I hated. Unless it was the seller who knows they are bottling toilet sewage.

I have bought this multiple times for my wife. Love the smell of it on her. One of my favorites to smell on her. I think original baccarat has a little better projection and lasts longer. This stays on her about 6-8 hours.it wears more like a EDT. This lair du temps and oldie but goodie. Lancôme midnight rose. Prada candy kiss or gloss are my all time favorite women’s scents I love them on my wife! This one screams classy and elegant! Kiss or gloss playful. And midnight rose I’ll hurt you! It’s the sexy one. Lair du temps is sophisticated. This elegant scent is not overbearing. It’s just really good. It screams femininity with class! As a man who loves colognes and perfumes. I know what I love to smell on my wife. I have bought her probably 100 perfumes in the last 4 years. She came home and told me when she wore this at work all the women where asking her what she was wearing. Now they all wear this. And their husbands all like it as well! Remember ladies us men have a different palette then you. But this scent made by the original is marketed as a unisex scent but definitely leans more feminine so it’s an iconic perfume.

I was a bit worried with the mix review but I absolutely love this! The scent has a strong acholic smell in the beginning but it settles down. I know the scent doesn't work with everyone but I have been told on me it works good. So far so good. The longevity 5-7 hours. It's very mysterious where its not blast but it's not subtle either. I would not blind buy this scent as it doesn't work on everyone!

It smells almost identical!! There is a slight alcohol smell when sprayed, but dissipates. I have genuine Baccarat and use this more then the real. Well worth the money!!!!!

I definitely fall in the category of reviewers where it smells amazing in the air, but not so much when it’s sprayed on me. Which is fine because every perfume isn’t going to smell great on everyone. You get a lot of perfume for the price and the smell does last a long time, I smelled it on me all day. While the lingering aroma of it as I walk past is that of the original Baccarat, I feel like on me personally it smells like a magazine catalog when they would have the perfume samples in the pages.

Update: It’s been several weeks, but this fragrance didn’t macerate for me, perhaps is was a subpar batch. Based on this experience, I don’t find this to be a good value/dupe. Original review: So I’m on this personal quest on finding the best BR540 clone/dupe which has turned into a bit of an obsession. I’ve tried Lattafa Ana Abiyedh Rouge which smells nice, but needs longevity/projection—perhaps it has to macerate (I’ve used the entire bottle and never macerated). Then bought this Barakkat Rouge 540 (both the eau de parfum, and also the extrait)—so far, like the other, it needs longevity/projection—perhaps it too needs to macerate. I will update when that happens or if anything changes. If it doesn’t macerate then not worth the price(s)—and these fragrance prices on Amazon do tend to fluctuate. I just bought another fragrance—a totally different brand, Arabic/Dubai EDP and so far, I think it’s the contender.
