Bought this and it worked great for 2 years, then it started making a metal grinding loud screeching noise anytime the AC was on. Stopped using the AC because of this noise. 6 months later the unit completely fair and left my teenage daughter stranded on the road on her way home from night class. Called the number given on Amazon and the rep stated they didn’t sell this on Amazon and don’t know why their number and web address are listed, so they won’t honor the warranty. Also she stated they have been trying to get their product and information removed from Amazon but to no avail. ... show more

The Compressor's mechanical and electrical connection matches my 02 Civic EX. The electrical connector came disconnected and is not like that shown in the photo. The correct connections (shown in attached photo) are the two blue wires to the thermal sensor and the red wire to the clutch. My mechanic added 2oz of lubricant, evacuated then charged the system. The Compressor is quiet and the AC blows at 40-50F in 90F surroundings. After 46 months of use the Compressor now rattles loudly when engaged. I suspect it is failing.
