  • Much better than I thought they would be!
Color: Gunmetal/Transparent Lens Width: 54 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2 x
Much better than I thought they would be! After obtaining progressive glasses from a eye wear clinic, I found they did not work with computer to book to people in the room. Read the information on these and thought I would give them a try. Price was amazingly low and did not expect much. Wow, was I wrong! These are excellent. Good quality, sturdy frames. Beautiful focus areas. Now, my eye prescriptions might just be in the perfect range for these, but I can read documents and books perfectly, look up to read my computer screen in amazing focus and look across the room to talk to someone without it being blurry. Love them and saved me several hundred dollars trying to get them from the eye clinic. ... show more

  • Great Glasses!
Color: Gunmetal/Transparent Lens Width: 54 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2 x
These Foster Grants are great readers and general vision glasses around the house do to their multi-focus design. In may ways, they are similer to progressive focus prescription lenses. This particular model is made from metal frames, to they are much sturdier and longer lasting than other models that have plastic frames. ... show more

  • The distortions made it impossible to wear
Color: Gunmetal/Transparent Lens Width: 54 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2 x
I wanted to like these Foster Grant reading glasses. They have a good looking frame, and the frames are well-made and sturdy. They are also spring-loaded, so they fit comfortably. But, unfortunately, these glasses have major distortions in the transition. The distortions made it impossible to wear them. I had to send them back. ... show more

  • Work for an emergency and not too bad otherwise.
Color: Gunmetal/Transparent Lens Width: 54 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2 x
Glasses arrived on time. They look nice, as good or better than my much more expensive prescription glasses. They fit a little snugly, but not to the point of discomfort. I can always adjust the temple over the back of the ear if necessary. I'm not sure how accurate the magnification is. My prescription for glasses matches the bottom magnification level of these glasses, but these do not allow me to see as clearly up close as my prescription glasses do. For distance, though, these are great. Anything beyond about 5 feet they work great and even up close I can see, but have to strain. I don't know whether my prescription has more than the simple magnification or if the magnification is a little less than represented. I really can't say that it's these glasses that are the problem. I would purchase these again. In fact, I'm going to do some experimentation by trying on some glasses that have a slightly greater magnification and compare it to what I bought. If it turns out that I need a stronger magnification for my purposes, I'll order another pair of these with the higher magnification. I don't know how what effect that will have on my distance vision with the concomitant change to the upper sections, but I'm willing to give it a try. The price is very reasonable and these are as good for distance as my more expensive prescriptions. I may not be able to match up the distance and the close up magnifications with the limited offering, but if your vision comes close I think these glasses will at least work in an emergency. ... show more

  • Love them after 5 days. Maybe go up 1/2 diopter setting from usual reading glasses?
Color: Gunmetal/Transparent Lens Width: 54 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2 x
Already posted for a different style. I advise going up 0.5 diopters from your normal reading glasses. I've had them about four days and have had no problems and like the quality. I work in a hospital and go between reading paper, computers, signs and just looking around down the hallway. Have not had to remove them. I'm 60. Had Lasik a few years ago but need reading glasses. Theses seem very worth the money at 5 days in to their use. ... show more

  • These are the reading glasses you have been looking for.
Color: Gunmetal/Transparent Lens Width: 54 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2 x
I have tried over 20 pairs of glasses on Amazon and these are the best. The multi-zone actually works. I have found 1.75 to be about the strongest strength you can while keeping the distance viewing still perfectly in focus. The 2.00 works better for me if I plan to be around the house or on the computer, but I would not recommend wearing the 2.00 to view a concert or sporting event. At 1.75, everything works perfectly. Close up objects are nice a clear and far objects remain perfectly in focus. Other muti-focus glasses suffer from ghosting images due to the way the glasses bend light, but I barely notice it with these glasses. (Something about the shape of them.) These glasses are a bit on the heavy side, but not uncomfortable at all. ... show more

  • Nice glasses, poorly made.
Color: Gunmetal/Transparent Lens Width: 54 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2 x
I've had these glasses for about 7 months. They were my first multifocus glasses and they worked perfectly... until. One of the screws was coming out, so before losing it, I removed it. It would not go back in. The glasses were not made properly and it turns out they were never assembled properly. So I am tossing them today because it is impossible to repair them. I suggest you purchase a cheaper product so when you have to toss them you aren't out $35. ... show more
