I have purchased Foster Grant reading glasses for many years. I found them here on Amazon for a lot less money. I have purchased other reading glasses made overseas but i prefer the Foster Grant reading glasses. Fit my face. Look halfway good. Many levels of magnification. Good reading! Recommend.

    • Lasted a few months of minimal use before the cheap plastic cracked

I usually buy a cheap three pack of reading glasses, but got tired of how easily they break, so I decided to buy a more expensive pair from a brand I had heard of before, thinking they would be quality and would actually last. These are just as cheaply made as the three packs I buy for less than I paid for this single pair. I've had them over 30 days so can't return them. I'm seeing a pattern where a lot of my purchases here aren't of any quality and don't end up lasting. From the listing: "Lightweight and strong: constructed from polycarbonate plastic for lightness and durability" - "durability" and "strong" is quite a stretch. I'm not rough on things and they should have lasted longer than 90 days. I checked the Foster Grant website and they have a limited warranty for items purchased on their website, I did not see where they covered products purchased here. There is no mention of a warranty on their page on this site either, at least that I could find. I will look for a company that stands behind their product next time. ... show more

They were comfortable and I liked the lenses (much better than the cheap readers I had been wearing). I bought them in early June. By late September the lenses were scratched (not from dropping them). October 14 the frame broke above the left lense from nothing but me wiping the lenses with a cloth. I was in the middle of a class for work (away from home) and had to go to great lengths to get another pair of readers quickly. ... show more
