I don't want to be negative on these glasses. First, they are far superior to "cheap" glasses you can buy in 3 or 5 packs on Amazon. The pair I received had been damaged, but still good enough for me to test. They aren't bad, but one thing I didn't care for was the smaller frame. My field of vision was picking up the frames significantly to the point of being an annoyance. My recommendation is spend a little more on the Foster Grant Thomson. I purchased those on Amazon, similar style, but much better build quality and an increased field of view. It might have been the larger lenses, but I felt the Thomson let in more light as well. From a reading perspective, these performed as I would have expected, just not as comfortable as my slightly more expensive reading glasses. It seems $15-20 is the sweet spot when finding a pair that just feels good, in my opinion. ... show more

We've purchased several pairs of these and they always break in the same spot where you just cannot fix them, right near the top middle of the lens. Waste of money - the dollar store variety seem to hold up better and if they do break down who cares, they were a buck.

I have wore Foster Grant Brandon for years now. I always accepted that drug store quality glasses would eventually break. So, on my most recent purchase, I bought four pair (first three pictures). I truly regret my decision. Every pair has broke within 37 days! The option to return ended three days ago. Two pair failed while moving them from atop my head down to my eyes (no impact or stress, a lens just dropped out and the frame was cracked, another pair, as I was picking them up off my nightstand when waking up. I have never been so dissapointed in a purchase from Amazon before! These have been a total waste of money! The original Brandon would last six months (give or take) and break at the hinge, with these the frame breaks so quick your will never see a failure in the hinge. I have included a photo of both versions (fourth picture). The pair on the left is the new style being reviewed, the pair on the right is the original Brandon (eventually failed at the hinge but lasted considerably longer). When I could find the original, they cost a little more but were worth it. I couldn't get a whole three weeks out of one pair of these!!! ... show more
