PROS: 1. The lenses are the perfect size, so it has total coverage, like there’s not a gap under, over or to the side. 2. THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE that I fall asleep on my side watching my iPad. Normally I have to prop my head up with my hand so they don’t hurt my temples when laying on my side but these are so comfortable I literally forget they’re on! I am the pickiest ever about my glasses so this is huge!! 3. They have five-layer anti-reflective coating that minimizes reflections from screens and fluorescent lighting. CONS: 1. A little expensive.

After cataract surgery/cornea transplant in my right eye, I was "between prescriptions" with my eyeglasses. Until the second surgery I needed a new set of glasses/readers that would fill the gap. The McKay has been surprisingly helpful, and is now my "daily driver." The 3-stage magnification is a good fit for my "new" right eye, and will probably continue to work well when I have the left eye done soon. Lenses are good, though the "blue-blocker" coating for computer use does give the lenses a very slight yellow cast when you look at them in a mirror. Love the style, though the lenses are a bit smaller than I'd like. I had to subtract one star because the frames seem a tad fragile and might not last long term. But they're definitely a better value than the ridiculously overpriced products owned/manufactured by Luxotica -- which nowadays means just about everybody that makes glasses. For the price of one pair of those, I could replace the McKays a dozen times or more. Foster Grant for the win.

I need reading glasses after cataract surgery and I was in visual limbo while waiting for my eyes to heal before getting prescription glasses. I have trouble with dizziness when using cheap drugstore glasses so I decided to try these multi focus ones. These glasses are better than I expected, especially for the price. I can see well both up close and at computer distance. The tops of the lenses are for farther away, but only up to about 5 feet - conversation distance. I still have to remove them for walking around or driving. I have gotten a couple of compliments on the appearance. They are holding up well after several weeks of wear, and I tend to drop my glasses and shove them in my purse, etc. I would purchase these again.

I really like these glasses. They are light weight and the lens work well. Now here's the "but" They all break on the bottom part of the frame around the lenses after about 6-8 months of normal use. The frame just breaks and the lens fall out. Has happened to 7 of my 8 pairs. I don't have this issue with the brown framed version of these. Nice while they last, don't last long enough for the cost.

These are horrible!! I bought these readers because I love the style and matted teal color. The design, and lenses are great. What I did not like is that the broke sitting on my dash in the car within a week. I should have returned them (they need to withstand heat to some degree…Ohio, early May), but they don’t. I decided to fix them with contact cement, and that put it back together, only for them to crack again in almost the same location!! See pic at the nose area. Once again, I fixed the glasses. Last week, I put them on again (I’ve rarely worn them…maybe a dozen time since owning them), and I’ll be dipped in tar, the damned things now broke on the left outer side. I’ve done nothing to them to warrant them breaking so easily. The plastic in these frames are so delicate that I don’t see how they can hold up over time. I feel I deserve my $35 back. I’m not one of those that returns everything they buy, or complain about it, but these Foster Grant reader take the cake. You’d think for the premium of $35 for readers, when you can get some for less than $10, that Foster Grant would have used much better plastics than what these are made from. So be aware, these will likely crack on you too. Not worth $5, let alone $35!

I like these a lot. They don't feel like they're going to fall apart any time soon. One thing, though--don't buy them counting on the case, because it doesn't really fit the glasses.

I can SEE! I use these daily to read anything and don’t even have to remove them with the bifocal type lens. Used the same pair over a year so far with no issues at all.
