My wife calls these “Mom jeans” but is thrilled that wide leg jeans have made a comeback. No more tight leg skinny jeans. These have juniors sizing so buyers may want to size up. My wife found these to be a bit tight at the waist, so no tucking in of tops. The lace detail at the waist is attractive and lends a little pizazz. Adorable, great fabric, but very strange sizing. Tag on jeans says low rise, but for the crotch to be in the right place you need the waistband to be above your navel. I'm a solid size 8 at 5'8 and 140, but a 4 or 6 would probably fit but be too short, then. If waist sits at hipbones, crotch sits 1/2 way down thigh. Great fabric and construction. ... show more

Well, the main description called these a high waist. Under the description, it stated mid rise. On the pants tag it shows low rise boot cut. These are not boot cut, they are wide legged. They are more of a mid rise. These pants are a mid to high rise, wide leg, mid weight, light washed, denim made of 85% cotton, and 15% polyester. Overall, I like them; I'm not used to the fit. I don't think these look bad on me but I've got jeans that look great on me. I haven't ever worn Forever 21 jeans before so I didn't know what to expect. Because of the fit, they seem to help hide my saddlebags and former baby B & B. I think the price is fair for a name brand jean, even better if you get them on sale. These are super long so tall gals ought to like these. Me, I'm 5'4", 159 lbs. I normally wear size large (10-12) and I ordered these in a 12. I'll need to cut and hem these at least 2", maybe 3". These run small and tight. Should size up unless you are skinny. Didn't really like the material either. Forever 21 should have told me this. Duh. Built for slim teenagers. I am returning.
