I'm new to this type 2 diabetes and this had good reviews. It seems pretty decent but the supplies are fairly expensive once you run out. Then I found my insurance will cover supplies but only for a specific monitor. The app seems decent but has features not included with this kit. This kit only tests blood glucose, It is capable of ketone testing but only if you purchase separate test strips. There is no A1C testing though the software appears to support it. It took a while to figure out how to get the bluetooth to log the results. Once you use the side button to eject the used test strip, a few seconds later it sends the results to the app!

I've had diabetes for years and have went through many meters. This one by far is the best. Nice large lighted display. Inexpensive test strips. It transmits it's reading to your cell phone for storage and Analysis. Recommend this highly.

Lancet pen worst I've ever used, so glad I kept old one. Everything else seems fine, for some it might have too much technology. I've only used a couple of times so will update review later after more experience. If you like the lancet pen you have, keep it until you can decide if you like the one that comes with kit.

FORA 6 strips from Amazon are no longer reliable and Amazon makes it impossible to resolve. FORA 6 was a great product in the past. But something has impacted the quality in 3 different order via Amazon. Just don't buy them any more very expensive waste of money.
