When pursuing something for the first time, it’s crucial to trust the process, have faith, stay determined, and embody the grit and burning desire within you. We united and pushed ourselves to achieve greatness in pursuing the title. Individuals had to set aside their egos and personal achievements to reach that level. The idea of “TEAM” and the 1-0 mentality were instilled in us during the off-season. Once we figured out how to work together effectively, winning became second nature.The significance of the subtitle, “Chapter 11,” is about joining this exclusive fraternity of State Champions in Beaumont. This is the eleventh State Championship team in Beaumont History. To be a part of this incredible fraternity speaks volumes about the character of these young men. It was repeatedly stated throughout the year,” Your character is your ceiling.”Our ceiling would become the blueprint. The blueprint is a comprehensive plan or strategy for success that encompasses training, tactics, and mindset. Coach Andre Boutte instilled the blueprint in the program by reintroducing discipline and increasing the standards.To "trust the process" means focusing on consistent, incremental improvement through training and dedication, even when immediate results are not apparent, and believing that long-term efforts will lead to success. It began with the strong tradition of West Brook High School, the Original Bruins.
