Some people are saying you have to modify the wires on the passenger side. but you unplug the harness from underneath the vehicle and connect everything to to the light and then feed the wire harness back underneath there is no need to cut any wiring.

The brake light wire and fitting coming out of the harness (from the vehicle) is not long enough to reach the top of the new LED light fixture and fit inside the vehicle at the same time. I had to connect everything like it said except the top brake light fitting hangs down out of the fixture and I stuffed the fixtures open hole with a piece of water resistant foam. Easy enough I suppose. But you can always clip the brake light wire and extend it so it can reach.

Like other reviewers that have bought these lights some had wire issues and were NOT PLUG AND PLAY. The stock wires are short so adding some wire is not very difficult but after extending the wires the driver side running light Did not work.. it took some trouble shooting and extra wire and stress for no reason! So if you’re not very technical I would not advise doing this yourself. But if you are technical and can handle a headache for no reason these lights can be supper cool! If you know enough about the wires you can wire to the different break/running/turn lights.. Over all they look dope, I could be happier if it was plug and play and didn’t need so much wiring.. BUT at the end of the day you definitely get what you pay for!

In love with the looks and brightness of these. I’m sure they fit more than the Yukon XL 2500 and I believe that’s why I had problems with the right side being short, I had to cut and extend the harness for 3 wires. Also the holes in the lights were way too big for the factory screws, so I added some threaded inserts on the lights and was just fine. For the money and quality (in 24hrs of being installed) I’m extremely happy. A buddy of mine bought a truck with a set of these in it and have been great for years, so I’m anticipating these listing a long time!

Was Skeptical about these taillights, I hadn’t seen any reviews but bit the bullet anyways. These are great taillights, I purchased the clear but have heard the smoked version are plenty bright as well. The wiring was plug and play and the installation video was helpful with what to plug where. 9/10 on the quality i just felt as if I was too ruff they may brake.

installed on my 2006 GMC yukon denali xl only two items of concern, 1. right rear factory wires will not reach to plug in, you will need to splice in about 4" of wire 2. plastice sockets on the lights where the you twist the plugs in is a bit thin and didnt feel a good positivre lock, be careful when installing no to over tighten
