First time out I played 18 holes; these shoes were extremely comfortable and provide a very stable platform. I wear a brace for drop foot and these shoes definitely improved my balance. I am going to give the shoe 3 stars - would like to give 2.5. It’s well made, attractive, and high quality. It does run large - probably a half size. However, I’m not so sure that it’s just the result of the weird heel design. I normally wear size 10 sneaker in pretty much every brand, I ordered here and my heel was slipping out. Toe box was fine. The heel has a very soft fabric feel to it - hard to describe. I then ordered a 9.5 and while tighter, the heel is still slipping out cause of the design. I have always liked FootJoy's, and avoid golf shoes with those plastic cleats, spikes, or whatever they call them. These shoes are just what I was looking for. They are water resistant, comfortable, look nice and could be used for non-golfing activities. And they clean up well after a round of slogging around on a soggy course. I have 5 pairs of footjoy golf shoes. These shoes are one of the best I own. They are super comfortable and well made. The shoes are true to fit. The rounded toe box allows great room for your toes.
