I own a Brannock device which is the device in shoe stores that is used to measure feet and as a result know that the only shoe that perfectly fits my odd foot is 10.5 wide and the FootJoy Men's Pro/Sl Golf Shoes are true to size. There are 2 measurements used to measure the length of your foot for proper shoe size, foot length and arch length (to ball of the foot), the rule is you use the larger of the 2 numbers between arch length and foot length. If your foot length is 9 but your arch length is 10, you wear a 10, this is because shoes are designed to bend at the ball of the foot and arch support of a shoe is also designed for arch length. If you are wearing the wrong length shoe, you will have foot issues and the shoes will also breakdown prematurely. Having a little extra room at the toe isn't an issue though not having enough is. Your feet are larger after you've been walking around for s few hours than when you get up, so measure your feet when you've been moving around for half day or so. My left foot is slightly smaller, always buy the size based on the measurement of your larger foot. Ok, enough about the importance of proper shoe size, let's talk about the FootJoy Men's Pro/Sl Golf Shoes. I received the shoes Thursday, wore them for a 2 hour practice session Friday that included 120 range balls, sand practice and then putting (also have new putter and sand wedge too). My conclusion? The FootJoy Men's Pro/Sl Golf Shoes is easily the best fitting, most comfortable and stable golf shoe I've ever owned, the insert is fantastic and I didn't notice my feet at all during my practice session, which is a good thing, because you only notice your feet when they are uncomfortable. I ride, I don't walk, so I will never know if this shoe is the perfect to walk 18, but after 120 minutes on my feet with them, I suspect they would be great for that too. Looks? They are golf shoes and better golf shoes are usually very distinctive looking and easy to ID as golf shoes, no one will mistake these for anything other than a golf shoe, but that's fine, I only wear them for golf. I picked a color combo I liked and I'm pleased with it. Durability is unknown at this time, since they are new.

Footjoy is a great golf shoe. I’ve been using them for over 40 years. The last 20 years I play nearly every day year around in all types of weather. I’m 76 years old and always walk. There is never an issue with breaking them in. Extremely comfortable. Very pleased with them and highly recommend.

Awesome shoes. Great feel, great play. Initially thought they were too small. Come to find out the Original insoles are thicc. Replace insole with either used or thinneris my advice. Personally, i switched the insoles from my trainers and they fit beautifully, and now my trainers have new support. Great value for cost.

Great shoes, a little tighter on the width than expected but not a complaint. This feel great, played 27 holes the weekend I got them and they held up great. Noticeably even more comfortable after hole #3. Feel great, look great, (shoot great?)

Great looking classic shoes. Footjoy quality. They are a little on the stiff side but break in fairly quickly once you wear them a few times. I wouldn't expect to put them on out of the box and go walk 18 without issues but once they break in they are very comfortable and second to none waterproofing. And they look great too.

I have wanted these shoes since they came out and finally pulled the trigger on the exact ones I’ve had my eye on. I’ve tried different color schemes and styles within in the Pro SL family in stores and they were super comfortable. Unfortunately, the ones I ordered online in my true size were too big and not nearly as comfortable as I remembered. It could just be that I needed a smaller size, and/or they need to be broken in. I fully intend to buy a pair that fits and feel as great as I remember. It’s just a little unfortunate it probably won’t be in the colors I wanted.

Just got my second pair, this time in white/gray. Not only do the shoes look good, they are comfortable to wear. The enhanced construction beefs up the shoe and makes them more supportive on the course. Noticeably heavier (and waterproof leather) construction than the Footjoy Superlite's, which are also a comfortable (and waterproof) golf shoe as well; best to go a bit more with the Footjoy Pro SL's, they seem to be a better value and nicer, worth the money.
