  • Enjoyed reading the book
Enjoyed reading the book. Frightening what the Fda allows considering they are supposed to be protecting us, the consumer. The only way we can start making changes is by not buying poisoned food. A difficult task since almost everything has been been modified in some way. I can understand the rise in cancers and childhood diseases that have increased. Organics is the only way we can start to make a difference hopefully. I do wish the book would name products by name to stay away from. ... show more

  • Not for those on Bible Diets
Small very basic info, and mostly focuses on GMO etc. Which is Good info, but skips or has incorrect info. Example several food items that is usually "Pig/Pork" she states Cattle like with Renet with Cheeses. L-Cystine states not enough info, and does not cover that is usually Human Hair, or can be Duck Feathers. She covers most Food colors except Red #4 which is a Bug or it's extract. It is small so can fit in a back pants pocket, or maybe a larger shirt pocket, and because small can't cover every thing, but skip only 1 food coloring? Also, many of the ingredients she just gives little info, and usually states needs more research or something like that. Maybe use it more for notes and write over what she has in the info for the ingredient but then will need to buy another Food Additive Book to get the info. Most Food ingredients in the book do not cover what they are made of. Is it Animal, Vegetable, Man Made, etc? Just saying if it is or is not GMO is really not much info. ... show more

  • Love it
Small in size but big in content. Easy to use. I cannot shop without consulting it. I was, and still am, astounded by the harmful ingredients added to the foods that have been staple in our household for years. Definitely an eye opener. Buy it. Although, as some reviewers have suggested, I agree that the cover could use a makeover, which is currently a bit cheesy ;) ... show more

  • Great company! Helpful book!
Amazing company! One of the books had a printing flaw. They sent me another promptly! They are so easy to deal with and reputable. The book is so helpful to weed through all the additives in our food !

  • Helpful and Handy
Love that this pocket sized. Very helpful information at your fingertips. I have adopted a paleo diet so when I purchase food I strive to get food that has little to just 1 ingredient (aka WHOLE, CLEAN, ORGANIC food) but I find that some cosmetics and household items have multiple ingredients. Either way this info is helpful! ... show more

  • Nice resource!
Great guidebook to food additives. If you have allergies, I would highly recommend this resource. It's small, so it will fit in your pocket or purse.

  • A Must Read
Although I had stopped as much of the chemical menagerie in my food supply, the book has helped me to go to 100%. But I had not considered the manufacturing process and the lack of reporting the traces if processing chemicals associated there, what an eye opener. This book was a recommendation from a local wellness doctor. ... show more
