I used this product for creating my costume, which was a lot of shading. I specifically chose this product because it was acrylic-based. Yes, it is a little bit gloopy out of the tube, but for designs on tshirts I don't see any issues with this, just gotta be careful. Super easy to water down, and cheap, because you don't need some expensive paint thinner or medium. It spreads like a dream, and I could even use a makeup sponge as an impromptu brush with no issues! In fact, I preferred it, because there were no "strings" of paint coming off like other reviewers using brushes mentioned! I did use some of this paint on latex, not just fabric, and it dried fully without needing to follow the curing instructions. However, because of the nature of latex (it not being fully breathable and super smooth) a rough touch could peel it off the latex. The fabric did not have this issue as it actually seeped into the fibers. The colors were super vibrant, and even watered down, still held up. I did have to use 2-3 layers on the latex, again, because of how smooth it is, and I could see issues painting darker fabrics. You definitely still could, just with a lot of layers. ... show more

I had a tee shirt with screen printing in the shape of a shabby chic heart shaped flag image. Two of the stripes stuck together and part of the image pulled off when I pulled them apart. I bought this fabric paint set to fix a red and a white stripe. The white covered really well, the red didn't quite match so I mixed a little orange and red together. The red did not cover as well, but I will put a second coat on when it dries. I have used lots of Folk Arts paints and trust this brand. I only needed a little bit of two colors so this set was best for me and worked well. ... show more

I love working with these, but the texture of the paint colors varies a little. Some of them (I think the white and the yellow, most noticeably) were weirdly sticky and stringy. It wasn't that big of a deal once I got to painting, though. It's worth knowing that if you're going to use these, you can't go in with a conservative mindset. They are not like acrylic paints; for some of them (particularly the white), you need to paint a very thick layer for it to show. I have yet to try to wash the clothing I've painted on so far, but I plan on using an iron on the inside of the shirt to seal the paint with heat. ... show more

Highly recommend!!! I truly have no bad remarks about this set. Great variety of colors, easy to use, cleaning off hands and brushes was simple, paint lasts on shirts after months of washing (very minimal fading - super impressed). Excellent price for a product that will last us a very long time. Attached sample of shirts we made and everyone is obsessed with how adorable these look! I got these to make a kiss hoodie for my bf and they worked pretty well. He wears the hoodie very often and everytime I see it, it still looks in good shape. So the paint def stays well. It does kinda dry slowly bc it’s pretty thick but it’s fine bc I just used a hair dryer. Which really helped and made the process super quick. But If ur needed a good durable fabric paint this stuff is a very good option. ... show more

The paint is nice but I didn't get a blue. Two oranges! Unfortunately I'd already opened and started painting before I realized I got extra orange. Very annoying since I can't mix two colors to get blue! Check your colors before you paint I guess. It's painting on the fabric very nicely and at least none of them were spilled, but they are not sealed, you just open and squirt. ... show more
