What else can be said? It’s so much quicker and easier to just clip these on the rail, toss the bumper over, and adjust the height. No more tying and untying knots to adjust height. We’ll see how they hold up over time.

Easy to install and the adjustable feature is very useful especially with the water levels constantly changing.

This is a high quality product in terms of construction and materials - very sturdy. The downside it that they do best on larger diameter life rails than skinny lifelines found on most boats. With wire-based lifelines on smaller boats (0-50 ft) these clips, if the boat is in motion when making contact with the dock/pier/adjacent boat, they can pull and rotate upward and pop off the lifeline leaving no protection at all. If you are an excellent docker of boats and have bow and stern thrusters you will be fine, but if you are, um, human - you may have issues with their ability to stay attached to the lifelines on your boat :) ... show more

Line easily comes out of the clip if tension is not constantly applied. Much more secure holders on the market.
